Jake Olson – G, Watertown High School
Olson is a scrappy player and watching his tape out of the gate showed me that he is a big-energy guy along with someone who wants to outwork everyone on the court. He does not have a set position on the court but functions more like a guard who can do it all with his size and overall speed being something that contributes to that, I like to think of him more as a pure baller who goes out and plays. Olson will often cause loose balls and more often than not go after it and come up with a clutch turnover for his team. He thrives in movement, while he can function well with the all in his hands, he loves to move off the ball and get open for a shot in motion concepts that his team draws up. He is a team player at heart and will always give you 120% effort when he is on the court, making his presence valuable to his team.
Cody Oswald – SG/SF, Yankton High School
Oswald has shown to be lanky and agile in his style and it has benefitted him in becoming one of the better swingmen that the state has to offer in terms of talent. Oswald is smooth with the dribble and even smoother with his game when he either gets open or finds a way to beat the defender off the dribble. His handles are great and he can very deep in his bag at times to do some great moves that help him become very elusive to opponents and is a great tool to throw them off their game. His shooting ability is the other thing that defenders fear when they see him on the court since he can spot up or pull up from just about anywhere on the court, no matter where he goes. His ability to score on all three levels makes him a threat that is very dangerous and if you do not give him adequate defensive attention, he’ll make you pay.
Mandella Mohamed – PG, Sioux Falls Washington High School
If you are looking for a defensive-minded and facilitating guard who loves to spread the rock around and play hard at all times when he is on the court, you have found your guy in Mohamed. Mohamed is fast and has some high levels of agility that allow him to do things other smaller guards cannot, like using his lanky frame to be an excellent defender. While he might not be the biggest player on the court, with his hands and agility mixed with his defensive ability, he can reliably guard the 1-4 without being a big mismatch. He loves to survey the court to find the open man and uses his great pass IQ to get players open or more often than not find the open player on the court. His two-way ability as a playmaker and a defender who can put anyone he wants in a box, and the kind of player any coach would love to have to play for their team.

– SG, Harrisburg High School
Vanbockern is going to do one thing when he is on the court, that being shooting threes, the question is if anyone will be able to stop him when he gets into stride. Vanbockern is a sniper when he gets the ball in his hands and he can do it so many different ways, he is so crafty with his approach and delivery compared to others. His jump shot shows me that he has put time and a lot of work into it, that it shows that he is a workhorse on the court and along with off. He has perfected what he does best down to a science almost, being a player who puts that much time into their game is a Grade-A factor when it comes to playing at a higher level. No matter if you want to take shots in the corner, or anywhere on the three-point line, Vanbockern will give you his best shot every time he goes up there. Overall, if you want a shooter who plays a team-first style of basketball and loves to take direction, look no father than Vanbockern and what he can do for you.
