Section 7AAA Rundown
This is without a doubt Hermantown’s section to lose. Hibbing not only lost their superstar in Ayden McDonald, they lost young talent too. North Branch won 16 games last season but they return only one guy from their rotation. I still think North Branch will be the second best team in the league but they have a lot of talent to replace. Cloquet underachieved last year and lost most of their top players. Grand Rapids was more of a veteran team last year and they really struggled. Denfeld was winless against section teams last season, they were 3-24 overall, but…. they were really only blown out 8 or 9 times last season. They were in a lot of games so Denfeld has a chance to take a step. But back to Hermantown, they have by far the best two players in the section and likely three of the best four players in the section. This six section league is theirs for the taking.
