The 6AA Rundown
I could see seven teams in this group having a chance to be in the state tournament and I could see seven different teams in this group landing in the Class AA top ten at different points this season. Seven of these teams are top 40 level in Minnesota’s AA basketball and I think Albany and Mora have groups with experience, depth, and talent in both the younger ages and in their veterans. Albany likely is the most talented with size but Mora has a load of good guards. Annandale can’t be counted out and Sauk Centre likely has the most dangerous player in all of a very good section. Plus keep an eye on a deep Milaca squad. All in all, I like Albany’s chances the most because of all the components but the team with the best chemistry will represent this section at state. That said, some teams come in a little bigger than others, or more experienced than others, or deeper than others. It’s wide open.
