SubscribeTop 250 Expo: All Tournament Team
The Top 250 Expo was another one for the ages. Top talent from around the country all in one building. Some continued on with their greatness and the legend that they have been building, while others let it be known that they were on the way. I saw everything from high level offense, to high level defenders. Players diving on the floor for loose balls with no regard for the blenchers. The passion, the drive, the want. It was all there. In this article I will highlight my All-Tournament Team Starting with the First Team.

showed off his complete game at the Texas Top 250 Expo. Finley did at on multiple levels and with poise. I never saw him rushed or rattled at any point during the combine. Finley shot the ball with efficiency and rhythm. He handled the ball well and facilitated at a high level. Finley did not turn the ball over once as I watched him play as he maneuvered as a facilitator for his team.

Taylor made his presence known on every level. He blocked shots at a high rate and dunk everything that was near the rim. His presence in every game was felt on both ends of the floor. Taylor demonstrated the old school dominate big presence that the new generation has veered away from. Most of this generation of bigs step out and shoot threes and stay far away from the basket. Taylor wanted the gym to know that he was a force in the paint. At one point Taylor had four dunks in a row and one came on top of someone. Pure dominance at the Prep Hoops Texas Top 250 Expo

Jones caught me by surprise. The younger of many of the players at the Texas Top 250 Expo, Jones sure didn’t play like it. Jones display top level athleticism, attention to detail, and a skillset that was second to none at the Expo. He stood out in every area stated. One of my biggest takeaways. Jones got a monster dunk on top of someone, the opposing team pushed the ball up the court, only for Jones to chased them down and block the shot on the back court. That type of effort there shows you mean a different type of business.

Evans was one of my favorites on the weekend at the Texas Top 250 Expo. His ability to shoot the ball from deep with his perfect form was a thing of beauty to watch. One game I watched Evans go into marksman mode. From three he connected on at least eight threes. What was even more impressive they weren’t force or rushed shots. All of his shots were within the flow of what his team was doing. Out of the eight he connected on about five to six in a row. None of that took away from his ability to get to the basket and finish strong. Evans had a great showing at the Texas Top 250 Expo.

Oes made a name for himself at the Texas Top 250 Expo. We will be hearing a lot about him going forward. Oes plays big and finds the ball. In a game full of quick, explosive and in some cases over anxious shooters. Oes made sure that he was impactful in every way. Whether it was getting the offensive rebound to add to his rebounding and point total or switching out to defend guards. Oes was making sure that his name and his play would be noticed. He made virtually every layup around the rim, which impressed me the most when he stepped outside and knock down the midrange jumper efficiently along with some three pointers. He was a sleeper coming in but I don’t anyone will be sleeping anymore
It was hard knocking out a Top 5 First Team in a Camp loaded with Talent. I would have to give my Co MVP honors to Butler Commit
