Our next feature is the Winter Haven Blue Devils, who are coming off a state semifinal appearance last season before losing to Ponte Vedra. The Blue Devils finished 23-8 in the 2021-2022 season.

James, a recent University of Georgia commit is a long, athletic forward with a high motor for getting defensive rebounds or blocking shots. On the offensive side, James is a high flyer and a tenacious finisher at the rim. As his career at Winter Haven has rolled on, James has expanded his range and can shoot from beyond the arc at a 35 percent clip. Look for James to have a monster senior season for the Blue Devils.

Celiscar, is an all-around player whether he’s finishing at the rim, shooting from beyond the arc or getting his teammates involved. The 6-6 junior plays the game with high intensity and is always under control. Celiscar can also go get rebounds with the best of them, as well as play multiple positions on the floor.

Phillips, a 6-5 junior combo guard plays with speed and keeps the game under control when the ball is in his hands. Phillips is among the key trio that features Dylan James Dylan James 6’8″ | SF The Rock | 2023 State #48 Nation FL and Isaac Celiscar Isaac Celiscar 6’6″ | SG Winter Haven | 2024 State #263 Nation FL . Phillips holds offers from Siena and Stetson University.
Key Newcomer: Kjei Parker Kjei Parker 6’1″ | CG Bartow | 2023 State FL 6-1 CG (2023)
Parker, a recent Florida A&M commit comes to Winter Haven from Bartow where he averaged 17.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Parker adds a strong frame for his size and plays physical and has a sweet outside shot. Expect Parker to be the primary point guard this upcoming season for the Blue Devils.

Mayo, has been known as a three-point specialist shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc last season as a sophomore. Mayo is also considered to be a two-way player and likes to get out in transition off steals. Mayo plays with an unselfish attitude and likes to get his teammates involved. Looking forward to a big junior season for the 5-10 combo guard.
