HC: Kip Rhoten, 5th Season
Class: 5A
2021-2022 Record: 14-13
Dallas Lambert
Dallas Lambert
Impact Player: Dallas Lambert 6-4 SG (2026)
Lambert has elite athleticism and potential to be Port Charlotte’s next big star in the making. The 6-4 shooting guard has unlimited range and is fearless when it comes to attacking the basket. Look for Lambert to be the replacement for former Pirate standout Alex Perry when it comes to finding a role for the freshman. He played up on the travel circuit this summer and will be exciting to watch this upcoming season.
Key Returners: Kaden Suber Kaden Suber 5’10” | CG Port Charlotte | 2025 FL 5-10 CG (2025)
Suber is your typical all-around player whether he’s shooting from beyond the arc or getting to the basket. In limited attempts last season, Suber shot 56 percent from beyond the arc as a freshman. Expect big things for Suber as he gears up for his sophomore season.
Key Returners: Jah Chin Jah Chin 5’10” | PG Port Charlotte | 2025 FL 5-10 PG (2025)
Chin plays with high energy on both sides of the ball and makes it difficult for offensive players to get a shot off. The two-way guard also has a high motor and can light it up from beyond the arc, as he shot 57 percent from long range as a freshman last season. Expect Chin and Suber to handle the primary point guard duties leading a young Port Charlotte squad this upcoming season.
Caleb Campos
Caleb Campos
Sleeper Prospect: Caleb Campos 6-7 PF (2023)
Campos has pure skill and length for his size whether he’s collecting rebounds off the glass or finishing at the rim. He is also a very good ball-handler and can spot up and shoot from mid-range. Campos has double-double average potential as he gears up for an impact senior season.
Sleeper Prospect: Bode Stewart Bode Stewart 6’6″ | PF Port Charlotte | 2023 FL 6-6 SF (2023)
Stewart can play anywhere on the floor whether he’s in the post or out on the wing. On the travel circuit, Stewart averaged nearly a double-double. Expect Stewart and Campos to run the frontcourt for a young-led Port Charlotte squad this upcoming season.
