Andrew Hill Andrew Hill 6'2" | CG Sandia | 2023 State NM “Sandia” PG: The senior guard from the Sandia Matadors is coming off an excellent junior year campaign. For the second straight season, Andrew Hill Andrew Hill 6'2" | CG Sandia | 2023 State NM will be one of Sandia’s core players this upcoming year. He is a solid lefty that runs the Point Guard position well. Andrew is often aggressive looking for his shot which will open up his playmaking for his teammates. He will be a huge X-Factor if Sandia wants to win the 5A State Championship this season.
Latavious Morris Latavious Morris 5'8" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2025 State NM “Atrisco Heritage” PG: The dynamic sophomore Latavious Morris Latavious Morris 5'8" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2025 State NM showed flashes of stardom last season as a freshman. Not only will he be a huge piece for the Jaguars this season, but he is a huge building block for the future of Atrisco Heritage. Latavious is a fearless scoring first Point Guard that is most dangerous when he has the basketball in his hands. He had a bigger role than what most freshman would have expected early on, but he never shied away from that pressure. Atrisco Heritage has a history of great guard play from over the years; (Corbin Walquie, Deshawn Lucero, Enrique Bibian, Joe Brooks, Estevan Martinez, Joziah Ramos and Chris Parra). I expect Latavious Morris Latavious Morris 5'8" | PG Atrisco Heritage | 2025 State NM to enter that conversation when it’s all said and done.
Remy Albrecht Remy Albrecht 5'11" | PG Cleveland | 2026 State NM “Cleveland” PG: Last season Remy Albrecht Remy Albrecht 5'11" | PG Cleveland | 2026 State NM impressed a lot of people in the basketball community with his play. The reason was because Remy Albrecht Remy Albrecht 5'11" | PG Cleveland | 2026 State NM was an 8th grader last season, and it didn’t look like it. He played like he was an experienced varsity vet that’s played for years. The rising star played will a lot of heart and pride last season. Remy showed he could hang with the big boys and made a serious impact for the Cleveland Storm last season. He is a quick and shifty scoring guard that isn’t afraid to attack downhill. His experience from last season will prove to be valuable this year as a freshman.
Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM “Cibola” SF: This season Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM will captain the ship for Cibola as they will catch a lot of people by surprise this year. He is a solid number one scoring option that every team needs to have in order to compete. Elijah can create his own shot and play off the ball by spacing the floor for the Cougars. This will be an explosive year for Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM as he will solidify his place as one of the top wings in New Mexico.
Hudson Brown Hudson Brown 5'9" | PG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM “Volcano Vista” PG: Hudson Brown Hudson Brown 5'9" | PG Volcano Vista | 2025 State NM is a natural born leader and that is a characteristic only a few have. Some of that may come from his family background where they have a ton of basketball history. This will be his first season as the starting Point Guard for the Volcano Vista Hawks, and he is more than ready for that role. Hudson plays the game the right way, not for any individual accolades, stats or awards. He competes and is just focused on winning the basketball game on that night for his team on both ends of the floor. Expect Hudson’s production to increase from last season as a freshman.
