For the rest of this week, we will take a look at each individual roster, breaking down this huge crop of talent from around the Pacific Northwest, player-by-player.
Here’s a look at Team Seven:
Madden Kline Madden Kline 6'0" | CG Beaverton | 2024 State OR (2024 Beaverton)
At 5-foot-11, Kline is a very capable spot-up shooter primarily playing in a two guard role at the expo. When the junior found himself open, he was able to knock down looks from both the mid range and beyond the arc.
Lucas Koehnke (2026 Regis)
Though he was outmatched physically as a 5-foot-4 freshman, Koehnke played hard and held his own defensively against other guards at the event. Additionally, the point guard can shoot the three when he’s left open.
Peyton Reyes Peyton Reyes 5'9" | PG Mountainside | 2025 State OR (2025 Mountainside)
Reyes was an obvious presence as a scorer for Team Seven, leading his squad in points during the game we saw. These buckets came from all over the floor as well, as Reyes knocked down numerous threes to go alongside some effective finishes inside. With a speedy handle and a tenacious play style, Reyes is certainly one to watch in the class of 2025.
Colt Ness Colt Ness 5'10" | PG Tigard | 2025 State OR (2025 Tigard)
Ness proved to be a capable facilitator at the expo. At 5-foot-10, the sophomore plays with a steady head, a strong handle, and looks to pass first, making him a great team-first guard.
Ryan Schleicher Ryan Schleicher 5'7" | PG Tualatin | 2023 State OR (2023 Tualatin)
Although Schleicher left the event early, his presence was still made known early on. The senior is a terrific point guard with a shifty handle and a high basketball IQ. When his shots aren’t falling, Schleicher can equally effect a game with his ability to pass and create off the dribble.
Blake Thune Blake Thune 6'3" | CG Mountainside | 2023 State OR (2023 Mountainside)
Thune is a lights out shooter with a frame built for the next level at 6-foot-3. At the expo, Thune was effective on the boards for a guard, and his jumper was deadly both off-the-dribble and spotting up. The senior has blossomed into a multi-faceted scorer.
Holden Geister (2024 Oregon City)
Built like a football player at 6-foot-3, Geister is a high-effort guy that is effective protecting the paint defensively and scoring buckets amongst taller players. Furthermore, Geister proved he is a terrific knock-down shooter, burying threes in multiple games throughout the day.
Miguel Taylor Miguel Taylor 6'6" | CG Summit | 2024 State ID (2024 Summit)
At 6-foot-7, Taylor is athletic and incredibly lanky, making him a versatile defender at the expo. The junior can block shots and guard on the perimeter, and his ability to finish at the rim consistently was also impressive.
Lucas Moreira Lucas Moreira 6'1" | CG De La Salle North | 2026 State OR (2026 De La Salle North)
Moreira was one of the most impressive freshman at the expo, using his mature frame and distinct bounce to score buckets at the rim. In one game we watched, Moreira caught fire late, driving to the cup with conviction for a quick 12 points.
Rafael Ochoa Rafael Ochoa 6'3" | CG North Salem Highschool | 2027 CA-S (2026 North Salem)
Also a freshman, Ochoa displayed similarly impressive physical tools for his age at 6-foot-1. Additionally, Ochoa was effective as a ball-handler and played with a solid motor throughout the event.
