A seven point swing, while giving up a five point lead at the end of the game due to missed opportunities and a lack of cohesion from the seniors and rising junior Isiah Evans. Evans is ranked in the top 15 in the class of 2024, arguably the best player in the State in his class as well. Nicknamed ‘Slim,’ a lanky 6’7″ wing with three level scoring ability, and with his size he has can result in his defensive ability to only continue to improve. Evans intensity and his passion is seen throughout the game, but his potential is what brought over twenty Colleges and Universities to Huntersville, North Carolina to see him in person.
With offers from Auburn, Georgetown, Memphis, and Arkansas to name a few he has eyes on all levels watching him as he creeps within the top ten of almost every major ranking. With Jordan Crawford off to school at the College of Charleston, there is a new transfer and a lead guard transitioning from junior varsity. Sophomore

is shaping to be the lead guard on this team beside returning sharp shooter Vernon ‘Trey’ Maxwell III who contends with Evans as the best shooter on the team. Murray has good ball skills and he has continued to learn as he has played this summer on the circuit. He has developed a very sneaky spin lay up finish in transition that he pulls out when the time is right.
Practice does not come without a challenge, with transfer freshman guard Ashton Pierce is a handful himself. He is 6’3″ with poise and a high level defender. Some might argue that Pierce should be the starter, there may be games he finishes as the lead guard beside

as there will be tough guards to deal with throughout the conference that may need Pierce’s assistance. Interest from schools throughout the country, the freshman will be asked this year to step up and I believe he will only grow into an improving lead guard for one of the best teams in the State, potentially the best guard in the Class on 2026 in the State.
Senior Demoris Jenkins, three star football East Carolina commit is expected to also play a big role his upcoming season as well. A bruiser that rim runs and does all the little things a coach would love. His size and stature will create countless second chances opportunities for this Vikings team as well. Christian Foy Christian Foy 6'6" | PF North Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC will be looked upon to be the other half of the defensive anchor that can propel this team to a conference championship, potentially to the State’s Final Four once again. Great size and if he can shoot the mid range ball consistently, he canc reate a lot of good spacing and opportunities for his teamates.
