Continue ReadingWe are back with our crystal ball to predict who will make the All-Region team in Region 5. Shiloh Christian is the favorite to win the Region once again! My dark horse pick in Garrison, I think they will be sneaky good. However, we are not here to make predictions about teams. Let’s look at who we think will be All-Region. Six of the guys on the list made it last year. Who will the news player be?
All-Region 5 Team
Connor Kerzman (2023) |6’1 SG| Garrison
-All-Region selection last season, stats last year: 23.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.4 apg, 3 spg, 83 made 3’s, he has All-State talent.
Braxton Iglehart (2024) |6’1 G| Garrison
-Another shooter for the Troopers, has sharp handles and a smooth floater game, an excellent passer, very crafty guard.
Little Hail Perkins (2025) |6’3 SF| Garrison
-Has really improved in the past year, a smooth player with a great feel, plays in & out, boards hard, good scoring acumen.
Jay Wanzek (2023) |6’6 PF| Shiloh Christian
-All-Region selection last year, nice summer with ECI, will be a beast around the rim & on the glass, scores from all levels.
Atticus Wilkinson (2024) |6’4 F| Shiloh Christian
-A great off-season, bouncy athlete & above-the-rim finisher, he & Wanzek will be a 2-headed monster for the Skyhawks.
Caden Englund (2025) |6’1 G| Shiloh Christian
-Played very well in AAU ball, opposing teams will struggle to keep him out of the paint, very very good off the bounce.
Lance Bradley (2024) |5-10 G| Standing Rock
-Excellent w/ the ball in his hands, superb skills, deadly off the dribble & very creative, tough to handle w/ 1 defender.
Brently Harrison (2024) |6-2 G/F| Standing Rock
-Deep shooting range that goes way out, has a sweet pull-up jumper, great dribble/passing skills, a mismatch problem.
Thane Beheler (2024) |6’4 SF| Standing Rock
-New to ND via Mobridge (SD), nice sophomore season, good athlete, productive rebounder, great addition to Warriors.
Javin Friesz (2024) |6’2 SG| Flasher
-All-Region last season, stats last year: 22.2 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 57 made 3’s, clutch player, acutely skilled, stud playmaker.
Trey Koski (2023) |5’11 G| Wilton/Wing
-All-Region selection last year, moves well laterally, creative off the dribble, aggressive rebounder, impressive athlete.
Dontaye Fetzer (2025) |5’11 G| Wilton/Wing
-He is very quick and fast, an opportunistic scorer, puts up points off dribble & catch-n-shoot 3’s, disruptor on defense.
Alex Retterath (2024) |6’1 G| Washburn
-All-Region selection last year, knows the game well, hot-shot shooter, good-looking jumper, will put up nice #’s this year.
Hunter Hoffman (2024) |6’4 PF| Center-Stanton
-All-Region selection last year, load to handle down low, BIG/strong/skilled, he can cash in 3’s, double-double guy, tough!
Wyatt Kuhn (2025) |6’4 PF| New Salem/Almont
-Young, yet a veteran player w/ all his varsity playing time, strong & very aggressive, expect a double-double every game.
