Jacob Zingg Jacob Zingg 6'9" | C Olentangy Orange | 2023 State OH , 6’9 C Olentangy Orange 2023: Zingg continues to improve each time I watch him and made a couple impressive finishes around the basket. With his size, programs will take a chance at developing Zingg as a player to make a big impact as an upperclassmen. Based on everything I’ve seen, I’d bet on Zingg working hard and having a chance to be an impactful college basketball player.
Jason Moore Jason Moore 6'8" | C Marysville | 2024 State OH , 6’8 PF Marysville 2024: Moore has been arguably the MVP of the league so far, dominating in almost every game he plays. Moore continues to expand his game, knocking down a couple 3-pointers and making some impressive passing reads as well. I also was impressed with how fluid Moore looks with the ball in his hands at his size. Moore is a continually developing player who will attract lots of college interest next spring and summer.
Trenton Minor Trenton Minor 6'4" | PF Big Walnut | 2024 State OH , 6’4 PF Big Walnut 2024: Another prospect who has impressed almost every week but I saw more outside shooting flashes from Minor than what I’ve previously seen. Minor is a bigger bodied wing forward who uses his strength and balance to finish around the basket often. Minor seems like a prospect who will have a chance to play his way into a scholarship next spring and summer, he’ll make a splash in our next rankings update.
Max Parish, 6’3 SF North Union 2024: Parish is one of the most athletic guys I’ve seen in this league with the athleticism to make impact plays at both ends. Parish uses his strength to finish around the rim and has the vertical pop to go above the rim for finishes. If Parish can become more consistent with his jumper, he can really take a step as he has a lot of physical tools to work with already.
Connor Smith Connor Smith 6'5" | SF Marysville | 2023 State OH , 6’3 SF Marysville 2023: Smith is the only senior on his team and had an impressive morning. Smith had a dunk in transition as he has some explosiveness with a head of steam. Smith also moved well without the ball and finished at the rim. Marysville has a lot of returning pieces for next season and Smith could have a bigger role as a senior for the Monarchs.
