DJ is the type of ball handler that has the ball on a string. He has shifty moves and that change of speed really helps him keep defenders off balance as well as drop them as he can move quickly changing direction. Step back is really working at a high level. He is able to finish with his off hands on both sides of the hoop. He has great vision to drop off passes or whip them in traffic as he is good at breaking the defense down and creating for others.
Anthony is a catch and shoot lefty snipper that you cannot leave open. Easier said than done as he is so active off the ball. He defends and is not afraid to o up against anyone regardless of size on the defensive end and even on the offensive end. He has some lift and hang time as he can move around in the air to find different ways to finish. Off the dribble he can go to one move and make his way to the lane and finish. His impressive way of finishing is that he can shield the ball away from defenders at a very mature level. Kinda has that Mike Bibby comp feel as he can work with the ball in his hands and get it moving as he makes those around him better.
With length and shooting ability and a wingspan that allows him to block shots he is a versatile player. Might even be two inches taller. He does a very good job of using his shoulder slightly to clear space so he can get the right positioning. On his attack moves he has this elite step through as he can really make some moves attacking the rim. Makes great high IQ passes on his moves. DJ is real shifty out in the perimeter as he can go to various moves and stop and goes to set up drives or step backs. In time he might end up 6’8 with major perimeter game as he has been given some really big time NBA comps as his game is starting to take shape.
This kid has a motor and his speed to get by defenders in transition really makes him tough to stay in-front of. If his team is pressing or trapping he is at his best because he can fly around and make plays all over the floor on both ends. The way he can go from stop to go with speed and burst just makes you more excited to see him come up and continue to develop. He will be running with a super tuff team in RJ Hampton Elite.
Talk about a blue Collar worker like Darrell out of Baltimore that gets after it. He is a gritty defender that can really set the tone with his defense. He is a ball hawk but he is active with his feet beating the offensive player to the spot or simply using his active hands to get his hands on the ball. This leads to easy buckets which gets him going even more as he can smell blood in the water and he attacks defensively.
