Once getting to the facility I immediately fell in love with the Black and Yellow hardwood on the court and how modern the school was. Here are some of the standouts from this event.
Carlil Pittman Jr. Geek Squad 2028 I have been watching this young man for some time now and his game has really matured. With great footwork, Carlil knows how to use his body to shield off defenders and will blow past you to finish at the basket a number of ways. His jump shot mechanics along with his footwork looked great as he knocked down a number of shots. Carlil is a playmaking shot creator who looks really polished.
Andre Tucker Geek Squad 2028 Andre is a pure menace on the court that you would hate to play against but love to have on your team. A sneaky lefty who takes pride in defense that can knock down the open jump shot. Forcing teams to turn the ball over which got Geek Squad off and running to open up the lead.
Jionni Austin OWB 2027 With great athletism Jionni kept the glass clean by pulling down a number of rebounds and some big-time blocks when his team needed him most.
Zeekeen cole OWB 2028 Little brother of Catholic POY Jakeem Cole is a strong guard with a quick first step guard who can absorb contact and finish at the rim with both hands. This young man is always in the lab and his hard work is showing. Making key plays down the stretch lead to a buzzer-beater to get the win over a loaded Late Bloomers 2028 Squad!
Angelo Addams Chi Town Bulldogs 2028 A small guard who can put points on the board in a hurry. With a quick trigger and a string on the ball made it easy for Angelo to show off his shot-creating ability to drain several deep threes. Angelo also showed he has the ability to make his teammates better by getting them open looks.
DeMaro King Chi Town Bulldogs 2027 A silent killer who lets his game speak for itself. With players trying to get in his head and take him out of his game DeMarco knows how to stay focused and just hoops. If he gets left open you may as well put the points on the board because he is a consistent shooter that knows how to put the ball in the basket.
