Abdur-Razaaq has been a steady two-way presence ever since his freshman year back at Overland, however he has taken on yet another role. The incoming senior combo forward boasts shotmaking upside out of the mid-range, often times coming from self created opportunities. At roughly 6’6, Abdur-Razaaq utilizes his combination of plus strength and disciplined footwork to leverage off the dribble shot attempts. Should he find a driving lane, the senior forward is dependable using crossovers or spin moves to create scoring opportunities around the rim. If help defense arrives, he is more than capable finishing through contact. Another area of intrigue resides in his playmaking potential, where he made high level passes along the baseline out to perimieter shooters. Abdur-Razaaq currently has offers from North Dakota, Rider, San Francisco, Radford, Montana, and Metropolitan State. Coming into the season, the combo forward ranks 4th in the class and 1st among small forwards.
Tammar Brown – 2024
Brown will be an intriguing rim runner and likely back-up center for Accelerated Prep. The junior out of Jamaica will be an immediate defensive contributor at roughly 6’10, given his quick instincts and athletic talent. Brown proved to be a dependable paint deterrent, both as a rim protector and defensive rebounder. This group will be constantly playing multiple tall forwards (6’8+), featuring any combination of Baye Fall Baye Fall 6'11" | C Luthern Christian | 2023 State #13 Nation CO , Assane Diop Assane Diop 6'10" | PF Belleview Christian | 2023 State #107 Nation CO , Brown, and Darren Sutton. Brown has shown intrigue as a consistent free throw shooter and is quickly growing with confidence as a standstill mid-range shooter. Although still fairly raw on the offensive end, Brown will look to play to his strengths as a shot blocker and rim runner, where he should be especially efficient.
Jayden Forrest – 2023
Forrest will be a key player for this group, notably as a steady ballhandler capable setting the pace. Standing right around 6’1, Forrest has the ball on string going either direction, proving capable scoring downhill one on one. Possesssing a low center of gravity, Forrest does well bullying his way to the rim as a means of creating passing lanes for those in the dunker spot. Another clear strength resides in his perimter shooting, proving to hit shots off the catch regardless of a contest. Forrest recently joined this group after his tenure at Marion High School just across the river from Memphis. Keep tabs on the senior guard’s chemistry with their bigs, as their is plenty of upside here.
Matthew Lee Matthew Lee 6'2" | PG Cherry Creek | 2025 CO – 2024
Lee will be a key floor spacer for this group, proving to be the best shooter on the roster. Standing right around 6’1, Lee will offer needed shooting gravity as a secondary playmaker. He is capable coming off handoffs or flare screens to get into his shot, needing only a second to relocate and get the shot off. Continuing to get more confident handling pressure versus aggressive opponents will be crucial for his upside, as he has shown flashes changing speeds versus tight matchups. Lee currently sits at 38th in the 2024 class and 9th among point guards.
