Continue ReadingBronson Blair Bronson Blair 5’11” | CG Mountain View | 2024 State GA was one of the biggest stock risers of the summer, consistently putting up 20-30 points a game for Team SMASH. Blair is a 3-level scorer that can heat up quickly and get to his spots off the bounce. Blair will likely run the point for Mountain View this year and should see ample opportunities to do his thing on the offensive end. Headed into a big junior year, Bronson Blair Bronson Blair 5’11” | CG Mountain View | 2024 State GA could open a lot of eyes with his scoring ability.
Because he plays down in south Georgia, Samuel Shoptaw Samuel Shoptaw 6’2″ | PG Windermere Prep | 2025 State FL may not be often mentioned as one of the state’s top 2025s but that didn’t stop South Alabama from being the first to offer back in July. Shoptaw can play either guard spot and is a sound decision maker for only a sophomore. He’s able to create off the dribble and does an excellent job of setting up his teammates as a playmaker. The pairing of Samuel Shoptaw Samuel Shoptaw 6’2″ | PG Windermere Prep | 2025 State FL and Landon New could surprise a lot of people at Lowndes this year.
From what we’ve seen of Kennesaw Mountain through the spring and summer, they look to be a very different team compared to last year’s squad and at the forefront of this new regime is Jake Whitaker Jake Whitaker 6’6″ | PF Kennesaw Mountain | 2024 GA . He’s a stretch forward that plays tough around the rim and can also space the floor with his shooting ability. This offseason, Whitaker’s added a lot of muscle and had added an inch or two as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Whitaker consistently put up 20 points a night this year.

Roc Lee Roc Lee 6’6″ | CG GA recently made the move to Berkmar after starting at Pebblebrook and should be setup for success as Berkmar’s primary scoring option. Lee is a do-it-all guy that can play anywhere along the perimeter. He’s got great size for a guard at 6’7 and uses it to his advantage, getting to the rim and finishing well. He received an offer from Ole Miss earlier this month.
Alex Young
Alex Young
Alex Young opened a lot of eyes playing with Brookwood over the summer and should play a vital role for the Broncos in the winter. He’s got a solid 6’5 frame which allows him to play both inside and out. He hits the boards hard and is able to get a lot of put-backs that way. Young can also shoot it from outside and has a pretty touch from mid-range. This year at Brookwood, Young should have the opportunity to showcase his full skillset and jump onto many college boards.
