Mac Wrecke Mac Wrecke 6'5" | SG Arrowhead | 2023 State #272 Nation WI — SG — Arrowhead
Already recognized as one of the best prospects in Wisconsin’s 2023 class, Wrecke is poised to have a massive senior season. The UW-Green Bay commit is an athletic shooting guard who can get buckets from all three levels. He has great positional size, which he is able to use to find success on both ends of the court. Wrecke has become one of my favorite prospects to watch and I really look forward to watching him play this fall/winter.
Tyran Cook Tyran Cook 6'1" | SG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI — SG — Waukesha South
Cook is one of the best isolation scorers in the state. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard does an awesome job of using his athletic ability to get downhill and convert on layups. Cook possesses a rare combination of skill and pure athleticism. When Cook makes his mind up to score the ball, there aren’t many defenders who will successfully be able to slow him down. Look for Cook to put up some big-time numbers this upcoming season at Waukesha South.
Braden Mcglothlin Braden Mcglothlin 6'0" | PG Catholic Memorial | 2023 State WI — PG — Catholic Memorial
One of the most intelligent and skilled passers in the state, McGlothlin is one of the best floor generals in the Classic Eight. It doesn’t matter what situation he is in, McGlothlin is always looking to connect with open teammates. He isn’t just a passer, though. The point guard can drain outside shots when left open and get downhill and convert on layups at the rim. Look for McGlothlin to make some impressive plays this season.
Bennett Basich Bennett Basich 6'3" | SG Arrowhead | 2024 State WI — SG — Arrowhead
Arrowhead is poised to be one of the better squads in the Classic Eight this season. Basich’s high level play is one of the major reasons why the Warhawks could make a deep run into March. The shooting guard is an efficient volume shooter. He does an awesome job of using his handle to get to his spots and knock down jump shots. I really enjoy watching Basich play — he can put a lot of stress on opposing defenders when he gets hot.
Logan Arndt Logan Arndt 6'2" | SG Oconomowoc | 2023 State WI — SG — Oconomowoc
Arndt is a tough, hard-nosed prospect. The Oconomowoc shooting guard is the type of player who has no problem completing all of the hustle plays necessary for winning basketball games. Arndt isn’t just grit, though. He does own a lot of skill. He can score well at all three levels and is also a phenomenal rebounder for his position.
Daniel Robinson Daniel Robinson 6'2" | CG Waukesha South | 2023 State WI — CG — Waukesha South
Robinson remains one of the biggest sleepers in the state. The Waukesha South combo guard is a phenomenal two-way talent. Robinson is one of the few prospects at the high school level who can lockdown the opposing squad’s best player while still getting his own buckets. Any college programs still looking for a guard should take a really good look at Robinson.
