Here at Prep Hoops PA, our updated 2023 rankings dropped on Monday and a variety of talented players are being covered this week. The staff at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania has diligently gathered information and worked extremely hard to develop an extraordinarily comprehensive list of over 500 high school basketball student-athletes. This group of seniors has the balance of talent to be the most heavily recruited group in a long time throughout the state. Many young men have been in constant communication with college coaches, while a large number of others are starting to garner collegiate attention as well. Listed below are the skilled performers that climbed the rankings for our current update.
climbed to – #18 Adam Bilinsky Adam Bilinsky 6'3" | SF Norwin | 2023 State PA / 6’3 wing forward / Norwin High School / With an outstanding AAU season this young man’s recruitment “blew up” this summer. He recently committed to continue his academic and basketball career at Mercyhurst University. Adam has a solid slashing ability on the baseline to the rim with slam dunks while making himself a more balanced player on offense.
climbed to – #25 Deandre Moye Deandre Moye 6'1" | CG Lincoln Park | 2023 State PA / 6’2 combo guard / Lincoln Park Charter High School / His transfer to Lincoln Park worked out for him tremendously last high school season. Playing alongside a few division 1 recruits his college options have climbed the ladder. Deandre is a skilled performer who has matured into a leader on both ends of the court for the Leopards.
climbed to – #28 Matt Stanley Matt Stanley 6'0" | PG Union Area | 2023 State PA / 6’0 point guard / Union High School / This quick, shifty point guard enjoys leading his team as the floor general throughout each contest. He can score with sound dribble moves while dishing out timely assists to his teammates. Matt will be a college basketball player but he has unfinished business this high school season trying to win the WPIAL Championship.
climbed to – #39 Brenden McCullough Brenden McCullough 6'1" | SG Peters Township | 2023 State PA / 6’0 shooting guard / Peters Township High School / An extremely intelligent and fundamentally gifted performer on the hardwood that gives one-hundred percent every game. Look for this young man to have a terrific senior campaign. Brenden has had some division 3 visits and will more than likely be an all-academic player this year.
climbed to – #59 Zach Oliver Zach Oliver 6'6" | SF Blackhawk | 2023 State PA / 6’3 wing forward / Blackhawk High School / Coming out of nowhere this AAU and team camp season was this “lights out” shooter. His ability to knock down” the long-range perimeter jumper makes him a matchup problem on the offensive end of the floor. Zach has garnered a variety of college interests and will most definitely achieve more this winter.
climbed to – #66 Ben Guffey Ben Guffey 6'1" | SG Bethel Park | 2023 State PA / 6’1 shooting guard / Bethel Park High School / A solid and fundamental stock riser who continues to work hard to fine-tune his game. His ability to get open shots with and without the ball is a big strength for this young man. Ben has aspirations of playing in college and that will become a reality with his extremely high work ethic.
climbed to – #97 Aiden Townsend Aiden Townsend 6'3" | SG Beaver | 2023 State PA / 6’3 shooting guard / Beaver High School / Watch for this skilled offensive threat to be the a main option for his team this high schools season. He brings a high IQ to the game of basketball and is a solid leader for the Bobcats. By the end of his senior year, a college program will be extremely lucky to scoop him up for their squad.
