16) Ronier Peters Ronier Peters 6'1" | SF Fairfax | 2024 State VA | 6’1” Fairfax (#84 Overall)
Peters is going to be the x-factor this year for a Fairfax team that’s poised for a big year, and if he can build on the impressive sophomore year he had he could be a big time player in NOVA. He plays with great energy on both ends of the floor, he’s excellent in transition where he can handle it or run the wing and he finishes everything around the rim and has a good midrange game too.
15) Shahide Battle Shahide Battle 6'3" | SF Lake Taylor | 2024 State VA | 6’3” Lake Taylor (#82 Overall)
Battle is the type of player who could shoot up this list as we see him more because it’s evident of his raw talent and he plays the game in a physical but smart manner. He can play on or off the ball and knows how to get to spots to score the ball, he’s a very good defender and rebounder for his position with his athleticism and strength and he tends to come up big whenever his team needs him to.
14) Kyan Bowman Kyan Bowman 6'4" | SF St. Stephen's St. Agnes | 2024 State VA | 6’4” St. Stephen’s St. Agnes (#76 Overall)
Bowman is starting to come along and this could be a breakout season for him at SSSAS as he’s waited his turn behind older players in his career so far. He has a fantastic frame and is able to get downhill and play through contact, he can knock down shots from deep and attack closeouts and he’s an excellent rebounder for his position and should thrive in their uptempo system.
13) CJ Parker CJ Parker 6'6" | SF Maury | 2024 State VA | 6’6” Maury (#71 Overall)
Parker has us much upside as anyone on this list and with a big junior season it wouldn’t be a shock to see him as one of the biggest stock risers as long as he can put it together. At 6’6” he has all the perimeter tools as far as his ability to put it on the deck and make shots, he can guard multiple positions with his size and mobility and he is a good passer with a good IQ as well.
12) Ellis Wright Ellis Wright 6'3" | SF Western Branch | 2024 State VA | 6’3” Western Branch (#66 Overall)
Wright is quickly making a name for himself in the 757 as one of the top shooters and he’s a part of young Western Branch team that could surprise some people this year. He has extremely long arms that he uses to rebound and get deflections, he moves off the ball well to get open and he sets his feet quickly and is confident from behind the arc and he’s starting to round out his offensive game to become more versatile.
11) Anthony Harris Anthony Harris 6'3" | SF Princess Anne | 2024 State VA | 6’2” Princess Anne (#60 Overall)
Harris is the ultimate x-factor for this PA team that could have a shot at making some noise in the Beach District this year with their mix of veteran leadership and young talent. The 6’2” wing is a gritty, blue-collar type of player who rebounds and defends hard, gets out in transition and finishes at the rim and he can stick it when you forget about him.
10) Miles Franklin Miles Franklin 6'6" | SF St Andrews Episcopal | 2025 State MD | 6’4” Fairfax (#41 Overall)
Franklin is set to explode this year on a Fairfax team that has steadily been building to this point, and if there’s one thing you can say about him is that he is electric and fun to watch. At 6’4” with long arms and good pop he can get out in transition or get downhill and play above the rim with authority, he makes plays defensively and forces turnovers and he’s developing as a shooter and ball handler too.
9) Kameron Tinsley Kameron Tinsley 6'5" | SF Cave Spring | 2024 State VA | 6’5” Cave Spring (#36 Overall)
Tinsley was a huge part of Cave Spring’s run to the state championship last year coming off the bench, but with leading scorer Owen Dawyot graduating he’ll step into a much bigger role this year. They have guard play and bigs but Tinsley will be integral as a defender where he’s excellent in the press, a shooter which he showed last year he can do at a high rate and his length and athleticism should get him plenty of opportunities at the rim too.
