Boogie now at 6”3 missed some time last season, but when he got back Stepinac and Boogie starred. Elite skill set. Can play either guard spot. Flat out scorer. Can take over games. Scores from deep or on the drive. Excellent passer. Sees the floor really well. A CHSAA player of the year candidate as well as NY State player of the year. On top of many college offer sheets,
Possibly the best backcourt in NY state with Johnuel and Danny. Danny can really shoot it from deep. Has unlimited range. At this open gym he made some terrific passes in the half court as well as in transition. Should also be considered for CHSAA player of the year as well as NY State. Has secured many high D1 offers already.
We ve told you recently how much this young man’s game has evolved. We got to see it live once again. No more is he just a rebounding force inside. A glue type player. He displayed the ability to knock down the three. Hit the mid range jumper. At the same time punishing players inside off the glass or defending or scoring inside. Expect a break out season from Ben.
Braylan like Ben as added some range to his game. Knocked down some open threes. He is a workhorse inside. Showed a nice foul line jumper with a good release point. Was able to get it off of two dribbles.
Jordan Gabriel
Jordan Gabriel
The rich get richer. One of the best Long Island players has transferred over to Stepinac. Jordan is an athletic big man. Has great hands. He showed in this open gym what players should expect inside from him when trying to score. He is a rim protector and rebounding force. Looked really good in pick and roll situations with the two talented guards. Setting a good wide screen then opening up and finishing off the catch.
H as they call him is a solid contributor. Has a strong body. Hard to knock off the ball. Really tough defender. Plays the game to the end every possession is the most important to him. Very impressed with his shooting from deep. Was very good setting his feet and getting his shot off in transition.
Cole Decker
Cole Decker
Cole has good size. Uses his body to handle the ball or score. Can hit the three ball. Showed a nice shot fake pull up and also a drive off of that.
Very quick north south guard. Hard to stay in front of him. Can change direction in a flash. Does not back down. Will play against two of the best guard in the state every day at practice will only make him stronger. A very good shooter from deep.
Carrick Dorreliand
Carrick Dorreliand
A freak athlete. Slasher type player. Extremely athletic player who plays above the rim.
Malcolm Ford

Tough and fearless point guard. Plays an aggressive style either with the ball or guarding it. Good on the ball defender. Can really shoot it.
