He continues to improve his game and his ability to play on and off the ball. I will not say much in this article about King as he will be getting more ink as he participates in some big upcoming camps. I will say that throughout the camp and the All-Star game, he shot the ball with efficiency from NBA range. He probes well, does not force action, does not over-dribble, and keeps the ball moving. He plays like a coach on the floor and really excels at running the offense and getting his teammates involved. Whether in transition or in the half-court, he puts pressure on the defense and forces help, creating space for shooters. As good as he is at orchestrating the offense, he is just as good at scoring the rock. He is an excellent shooter with good form and deep range. He was one of the best at stepping into the trey off the bounce, which kept defenders guessing whether he was about to attack off the bounce or step into the perimeter J. Zion has a lightning-quick first step, and when he gets going downhill, he is tough to contain. He has excellent scoring instincts, and eventhough he is listed as a PG, he effortlessly switches between playing on-ball and off-ball. As mentioned, he can score the rock but turned down a lot of open looks from beyond the arc. As good as he is in iso situations with his ability to change speeds and directions, he must show that he is willing to take and can make the trey. He was hands down one of the best finishers at the camp, and you can attribute a lot of that to his broad shoulders and his ability to embrace and finish thru contact. He is a good ball handler, playmaker, scorer, and passer. His scoring acumen will keep you locked in to see what ways he will put points on the board next. He can score off the bounce and finds his way to the rim resulting in a strong finish at or above the rim. Defensively he can guard multiple positions and provide rim protection, which shows his versatility. Caelum's game is really emerging and evolving as he definitely looks the part of a collegiate player and flashes significant upside. He was one of the most dangerous scorers in camp and got it done on c&amp;s opportunities, off the bounce, in transition, and by creating his own shot. He has good positional size for a shooting guard, and even though he did not complete our player profile form, we saw the impact of his size throughout camp. He has enough athleticism to hold his own, and although I did not witness him having crazy bounce to his game, that is not to say he doesn't possess it. He's a good ball handler who can get to his spots and gets good separation on his perimeter jumpers. He plays with a high IQ and great poise and has the capacity to shift the momentum of a game within seconds. He played a grimy and physical style of play that was tough for many to deal with. He gets after his opponents on both ends of the floor, forcing them to play outside of their comfort zone. He is the type of player you love on your team but hate to have to play against. Offensively, he is explosive at the rim, and when he has his back to the basket, he is a force as he bullies his way to the rim. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and uses his length to make it extremely difficult for opponents to get their shot off. He is listed as a center but will be considered undersized in some arenas. However, at camp, he was active and set a tone making it difficult for opponents to match his energy output. He's not the most flashy player and is somewhat of a throwback, old-school big who scores in the post, on put-backs, and on offensive rebounds. He's a solid screen setter and rolls hard and positions himself with a seal deep in the paint. He is a bruiser that does not shy away from contact and does a great job setting the physical tone for his squad. Defensively, he contests shots, and he rebounded at a high rate on the defensive boards, made quick outlet passes, and ran the floor hard, putting himself in good position for easy transition buckets.
