Best 2024 BIGS
|6’5 F| Four Winds-Minnewaukan
-Anyone that has watched Deng play knows that he has next-level athleticism. Sensational finisher & playmaker.
-Helped lead his squad to a perfect season & a State Championship. All-State & All-Region as a sophomore.
|6’9 PF| Hillsboro/Central Valley
-He saw his stock rose big-time because of his play in AAU ball with ECI, showed that he is a next-level forward.
-Has everything college coaches want, height, length, athleticism, 3pt shooting, rim-protecting, and ball skills.
|6’6 PF| Fargo North
-All-EDC as a sophomore, dominant player in the paint, phenomenal patience when finishing around the basket.
-Great hands, no problem finishing through contact, does not give an inch on D, has stretched his shooting range.
|6’5 PF| Grand Forks Central
-All-EDC as a sophomore, explosive/powerful/violent dunker, a physical specimen that has a college-ready body.
-His motor never stops, hits the glass hard, especially on the O-end, a momentum changer with his athleticism.
|6’7 F| Bismarck
-The most skilled BIG/forward in this article, has a pure shooting stroke, puts up points from all over the court.
-He has not played a high school game yet w/ his new team, but from what I saw this summer, he will be a DUDE.
|6’6 F| Central Cass
-Modern-day “stretch 4” that can hurt you inside & out. College coaches love players 6’5″+ that can shoot the 3-ball.
-CC will be a top team in Region 1 & have a great chance at State, Holzer will be an All-Region player, a gifted passer.
|6’3 F| Four Winds-Minnewaukan
-State Champion & a key player on the undefeated team, will have a bigger role this season & numbers will shoot up.
-Easily a next-level athlete, high-rise dunker, has a quality jump shot, phenomenal in transition, an aggressive finisher.
|6’4 F| West Fargo
-A workhorse on the court & a bear on the glass, scores well around the rim, can also hit 15′ jumpers & triples.
-He will have the chance to get plenty of burn this year for the Packers, could have a breakout season in the EDC.
|6’4 F| Sargent County
-Played well in AAU with ND Attack, proved he can compete against impressive athletes, will be an All-Region player.
-He plays with a competitive edge, a mismatch problem, will go inside vs. guards, can slash & shoot vs. slower BIGS.
|6’5 PF| Kindred
-Big, strong, tough, has State Tourney experience, will be a monster inside this year, will look to lead KHS back to State.
-A D1 athlete, has completely blown up as a football recruit w/ heavy D1 interest, also a D1 recruit as a thrower in T&F.
|6’4 F| Shiloh Christian
-Much more athletic than I realized, bouncy/impressive dunker, good moves from the block, a productive rebounder.
-Will be a talented starter for the Skyhawks who will likely make State, looked very good this summer when I watched.
