Idaho’s Top Five Returning Scorers

This is true for many players this year, but many of the top players are returning for at least another year. Here are the top five returning scorers in the state of Idaho.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3><strong>5-Talmage Stucki, Middleton High School.</strong></h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stucki is not your traditional “pass-first” point guard, scoring 11.6 points per game. He did this while also dishing out just over 2 assists per game. His well-rounded game provides excitement heading into his senior year.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3><strong>4-[player_tooltip player_id='970441' first='Ja'Vonte' last='King'], Blackfoot High School.</strong></h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Javonte is a two-sport athlete, playing wide receiver on the football team as well as shooting guard. His 6'3” frame and athleticism allow him to score in many different ways, producing 13.5 points per game while he fills up the whole stat sheet.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3><strong>3-Max Wheeler, North Star High School.</strong></h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'1” guard from Eagle, Idaho is coming off of a prolific junior campaign. Max was a stat machine, scoring 16.5 points per game after being promoted from the JV squad and against some of Idaho's best competition.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3><strong>2-[player_tooltip player_id='1568040' first='Carsn' last='Perkes'], Carey High School.</strong></h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Albeit at a lower level of competition Carsn, the 6'2” Junior, averaged a double-double including 19 points per game, shooting 34 percent from long distance.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3><strong>1-[player_tooltip player_id='923083' first='Vander' last='Brown'], Lakeside High School.</strong></h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='923083' first='Vander' last='Brown'] is a bucket. Scoring 27 points per game last year, he almost doubled his production from the year before. At 5'10” he scored most of his points inside the three-point arc, which opened up his teammates, allowing him to dish out 4 assists per game. If he improves his three-point shooting in his senior season he could put up silly numbers.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 22-23 season is nearly upon us.
