Below is Part III in our preview of the teams and prospects who will be participating in the 2022 Competitive Edge High School Fall League.

Pottstown: Pottstown will look to rebound from a down 2021-22 season behind junior Sadeeq Jackson (13.8 ppg.) and senior combo-guard Ty Elliot-Moore (7 ppg.). Jackson is an intriguing 2024 prospect who will carry the bulk of the scoring load. He is fast, athletic and possesses hops, so he excels in transition. In the half court, Jackson is solid spot up three-point shooter. He closed the 2021-22 season with four games of 17 or more points. The shifty Elliot-Moore is more than capable of filling it up as well. He proved that last season when he notched a season high 23 points against Pottsgrove.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy: Four-star, senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1188210' first='Alassane' last='Amadou'] (6'9; Marquette commit) and ultra-skilled 2024 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1200762' first='Camden' last='Burns'] (1st Team All-Inter-Ac in 2021-22; pic above) lead a SCHA team that won 16 games last season and returns a host of key players. Senior shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1281996' first='Jaren' last='Morton'] and 6'6” small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1128375' first='Caleb' last='Alston'] are among the returners. Morton (2023) can score the rock at all three levels. Alston (2024) is a quick big who is a match-up nightmare because he can score and distribute. SCHA will be one of the most entertaining teams in the Comp Edge Fall League and should be a title contender.

Upper Merion: With the departure of UM's extremely skilled Class of 2022, scoring points for the Vikings will fall on the shoulders of senior [player_tooltip player_id='1116047' first='Madison' last='Tatom']. The talented combo guard battled several injuries last year, but if he can return to his 2020-21 season form (1st Team All-Pioneer Athletic Conference), Tatom should put up jaw dropping numbers. Tatom is a catch and shoot three-point ace. Plus, he owns enough dribble drive skills that he can get to the rim whenever he desires.

Wissahickon: The success of Trojans fall/winter seasons will be determined by how far seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1382964' first='Jaylon' last='Williams'] and Earl Stout can carry this squad. Williams will be option No. 1 on offense. He is an extremely capable 3-level scoring threat. He uses his automatic 3-point shooting to set up the rest of his bag. Last year against Upper Moreland Williams scored a season high-high 26 points on the strength of 5 made threes. Stout is a smooth point guard who can direct half court sets, score off the dribble and rain in threes from all along the arc. In 2021-22 he recorded a season high 19 points (3 triples) vs. Perkiomen Valley.
