Highlights
Walker is a 6’5″ big-bodied guard that’s great strength and physicality for the position. He’s been rising up the ranks after a really impressive spring and summer, and he’s only just getting started. A dynamic, two-way player, Walker is capable of scoring the basketball with ease as well as guarding on the perimeter. He’s a very athletic, active player that’s been super impactful with his time on the court.
A player that’s super skilled, Alekseyenko can really shoot the basketball. And, considering that he can do it well while standing 6’7″ is even more impressive. He’s creative, he’s crafty, and again, he’s skilled. The combination of skill and size makes Alekseyenko a player to watch out as he continues to fly up the rankings. As his game grows and evolves to the next level, so will his stock.
Highlights
Jemison, another skilled, lengthy player, is someone that’s exceeded all expectations of him which is why he finds himself on this list. The 6’8″ wing is super skilled, as he can score at all three levels and has above average ball-handling abilities for the size and position. I watched him play at Prep Hoops’ Top-250 New England expo, and he was by far one of the best players in attendance. He continues to grow, and he continues to develop his game.
Duncan is a highly-athletic and highly-skilled combo guard that should certainly be higher on this list. After being recruited by high-level programs, Duncan’s going to continue getting better. And with it, he’ll see his stock rise and grow. He can score from all three levels, and he’s super disruptive on the defensive end. He’s someone to watch out for, because he’s going to make a lot of noise at the next level.
Thompson is listed at 6’7″ and it’s that length that makes him so dangerous and difficult to deal with. He’s an elite scorer, inside and outside. He’s also very athletic, and the multiple tools he holds means he’s going to be very good at the next level. I’m excited to get out to Putnam Science Academy to watch him play, because there’s so much to be intrigued about. He’s a player that’s just getting started, and I sense big things ahead for Thompson in the near future.
Quezada is a player that I’ve had the opportunity to watch live in-person. He’s got tons of talent. He’s got excellent footwork down low, and he’s a high-flyer that brings great athleticism to the table. An emerging scorer, Quezada is going to take a leap in that department this year. He’s super long and the wingspan and active make him a really great defender. All in all, Quezada is a two-way player that’s only going to get better. He’s someone to watch for, because his stock could continue rising.
