Already committed to Wofford, Lorenz is a prospect who has really impressed as of late. The power forward stands at 6-foot-8 and uses his rare combination of size, skill, and athleticism to find success on the basketball court. Lorenz is a true impact player who can make big plays on both ends of the court. He can score well at all three levels and is also a great defender and shot-blocker. Look out for Lorenz at the college level — he is poised to have a really great career.

Peters is a prospect who I have really enjoyed watching play over the last handful of years. The power forward stands at 6-foot-8 and has a very strong build. On both ends of the court, Peters has the ability to dominate in the paint. He can use his size to finish layups and snag boards on the offensive end. On defense, Peters can body-up opposing players and block shots at a high level. If any college programs are still looking for a power forward, I would certainly suggest that they take a look at Peters.

Whorton might have the highest upside out of all the prospects on this list. If the power forward is able to put it all together, Whorton is going to be a real problem at the college level. Whorton has a prototypical frame for a PF at the college level. I really love the skills that Whorton possesses, too. He can handle the ball well in the open floor, block shots, and convert on layups through contact. If there was a breakout candidate for the upcoming season, it is Whorton.
Simeon Murchison

Even though he missed his junior season, look for Murchison to return this fall/winter with a lot to prove. The power forward has the ability to take over games in the paint. He is a rebounding machine on both ends. I love how Murchison doesn’t shy away from contact in the paint. Many times, bigger prospects attempt to float around on the perimeter. Not Murchison. He gets most of his work done down low. Look for some Division One programs to offer Murchison before it is too late.

He might not be the most flashy prospect on this list, but Oglesby gets the job done. The power forward is a walking double-double. Coming off a season where he averaged 18.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, look for Oglesby to impress once again this season. Even though he is a power forward, Oglesby possesses some guard-like skills. He can score well off the dribble and is a very good shooter. I love Oglesby’s overall game and have enjoyed watching him play over the years.

Thomas is one of the better post prospects in the state of Wisconsin. Standing at 6-foot-8, Thomas has no problem taking over games in the paint. He has some really good footwork and does a great job of finishing through contact. I love the creativity that the power forward possesses on the block. It seems as if Thomas is always able to find a way to get buckets around the rim.
