Tai is the kind of guard that a coaching staff is confident when the ball is in his hands. Very skilled ball handler and passer. A good shooter off the catch or getting his own shot off the dribble. Quick first step and crafty into the lane. Moves his feet defensively staying in front.
Very polished player. High elite skillset. Can play either guard spot. Quick hands and feet creates steals. Very good shooter beyond the arc. Has a quick first step one dribble pull up. Also has shown a nice scoop shot in the lane with either hand.
Known has “Boogie” to his teammates. He possibly makes up half of the best backcourt in New York with the above mentioned player. Can score at all three levels. Not much he can’t do on the basketball court. Seems to always make the right play. Solid defensively. Tremendous vision and awareness.
Has made some of the best passes I have seen at the high school level. It doesn’t matter if he needs to thread it through a zone or let it go the length of the court taking some air out of it slipping into the hands of a teammate. Extremely quick player with an excellent handle. High elite skillset. Can drain the three or slice into the lane and dunk it.
Kayden is a playmaker. Has tremendous court vision and awareness. Outstanding mid range game. Coaching staff feels his understanding of defense his way beyond his years. With some graduations Kayden will be a major impact player for LUHI.
Outstanding leadership qualities. Has a point guard skillset but can also play the off guard. Can flat out score the ball. Excellent shooter from three. He is able to weave his way down the floor with quickness and the awareness to make the right play. Scores inside with leaners, or a floater in the lane.
Markell Alston
Markell Alston
As a freshman Markell played a lot of big minutes for CTK. He faced a lot of pressure and he delivered excellent results. Markell has a strong body which enables him to handle the ball in tight quarters. Great court vision. Initiates contact and finishes in the lane. Has displayed a little teardrop off the glass .
