Akil is one of the top players in the entire country at his position and is a physical player. He's got ballhandling skills and can explode at the rim. He had a good season last winter, including 25 vs Brooklyn South Shore(NY). He's a powerful post player and rebounder, built from the mold of his brother. He's unafraid of contact and has a soft touch around the rim. He's going to be a dominant low-post player as he develops. He had double-doubles vs Hackensack(13&amp;14) and St Joes(16&amp;12) as his top freshman year performances. The Vanderbilt commit is a mountain of a man in the paint and checks in at 250lb of rock solid muscle. His size gives Hudson Catholic a serious boost in their front court and he was a double-double guy last year.
