Caleb Hofmeister (2023) | 5-7 G | Mission Hills |
Hofmeister is not only one of the best shooters in the county but also one of the smartest. He doesn’t force any tough jumpers and allows the offense to create open looks for him as he efficiently shoots off of screens and off the dribble. Hofmeister also complements his shooting with great passing and energy on the defensive end. He returns for his senior year to a solid Mission Hills squad looking to win their league once again
Trent Lotito (2024) | 6-1 G | Rancho Buena Vista |
Lotito has had a big growth spurt in the summer and looked great for Rancho in summer league play. Lotito has great extended range as a shooter and will pull from the volleyball line if left open. He also isn’t afraid to take the ball to the rim with improved touch on his floaters and layups around defenders. His wingspan allows him to match up with bigger guards on defense and close off passing lanes. As he grows into his new long frame Lotito looks to have a breakout season for a young RBV team
Cameron Wood Cameron Wood 6'4" | SG Rancho Bernardo | 2023 CA-S (2023) | 6-4 G | Rancho Bernardo |
Wood is a confident shooter who shows up in big-time moments. Over the AAU season, Wood hit many clutch threes for D1 Southern California and has built up a lot of momentum going into his senior season. His height and strong build for his position allow him to not only be a good shooter but a solid rebounder as well. He is part of the Broncos’ strong senior group looking to make some noise in the Palomar league this season
Luke Picah (2023) | 6-5 SG | El Camino |
Picah is a tall guard with a quick jumper who is the Wildcats’ sniper. Picah can heat up in a hurry and compliments the playstyle of this young EC team which likes to run perfectly as he is always keeping defenders honest with his shooting ability. He also reads passing lanes well on defense and he isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and make plays. On a Wildcats team that returns 4 out of their 5 starters, Picah looks to have his best year yet
Presley Bruskotter (2023) | 6-1 G | Victory Christian |
Bruskotter is probably one of the most accomplished but slept-on players in San Diego, a CIF champion, already a 1000-point career scorer, and about to be a 4-year varsity starter. Bruskotter has always held a prominent role in the offense of every team he has played on and can do a little bit of everything but always shined the most when it came to his shooting ability, he gets hot in a hurry and shoots very efficiently off the dribble as well as from deep. Bruskotter looks to be the guy for a Victory Christian team looking to get back to the CIF finals after an appearance last season.
