Once at the rim, Lee surveyed the floor for low post dump off passes or kick outs to corner shooters. Continuing to increase his shooting volume off the catch and ballhandling comfort level in traffic will have major effects on his upside. Lee is on our 2024 watch list, where his ranking will likely be determined in the next update.

Another intriguing aspect of Jacob’s playstyle will be his pick and roll usage as a ballhandler. Zach Schmeeckle Zach Schmeeckle 6'3" | SG Silver Creek | 2023 CO – Silver Creek – 2023

He proved to make shots out to NBA range, confidently stepping into such long range shots within transition. In the halfcourt, Schmeeckle could take advantage of poor defensive positioning, taking opponents to the rack or pulling up for a mid-range jumper. One unique area of his mid-range skillset is that he can rise up for the shot in a variety of directions, capable fading back, either side, or simply stepping into the shot. Key areas will be Schmeeckle’s commitment to playmaking with the ball and at what rate he can draw fouls around the rim. The shooting guard is currently unranked within the 2023 class.
Damarius Taylor Damarius Taylor 5'10" | CG Regis | 2024 State CO – Regis Jesuit – 2024

The combo guard is capable manipulating defenders in a variety of ways off the bounce, notably through crossovers or in an out dribbles. The biggest x-factor for Taylor resides in his rate to draw fouls, where he actively sought out contact around the rim throughout the summer. Areas worth monitoring will be his passing vision off drives and overall awareness level on the defensive end, especially off the ball. Taylor currently ranks 44th in the class and 8th among combo guards within the 2024 class.
