ND Attack 17U finished with a 27-6 record and they won four tournament Championships. This squad knows how to win! They played well together, shared the ball, and they meshed well as a group. ND Attack had no ball-stoppers and they shared the ball with selflessness. This was a balanced team and an overall fun group of players to watch on the court. This group knows how to take care of business, they won many games in the last two seasons of AAU ball. Good luck to all the Attack players in your senior season of hoops!

Read below for the Attack roster and player comments.

ND Attack 17U - ROSTER

[player_tooltip player_id='1162373' first='Ian' last='Johnson'] |6'4 SF| Minot Ryan

He has a nice feel for the game. At 6'4" and long, Ian is a versatile defender and he can do a bit of everything on offense. If he gets space, Johnson will hit the 3, he also slashes to the cup, and is productive around the basket. Johnson was a quality role player for Attack. His understanding of basketball and passion for the game made Ian an excellent teammate. Look for Johnson to be an All-Region 6 player. Expect a big season for Johnson and the Lions in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='1184440' first='Rylan' last='Olson'] |6'4 SG| Des Lacs-Burlington

He is a super athlete that runs, jumps, and moves side-to-side in an impressive fashion. Olson can be an unconscious scorer that can put up points in a hurry. Rylan is explosive off the bounce and he can drill 3-pointers. He has the ability to take over the game in stretches. Look for Olson to be an All-Region player in his senior season. Rylan and the Lakers are going to make some noise this winter, DLB could be the team to beat in Region 6.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050261' first='TJ' last='Cosley'] |5'11 PG| North Border

He was a true point guard for ND Attack. Cosley was excellent at pushing the tempo and distributing the rock. Cosley likes to get his teammates involved before he looks for his own shot. TJ has great handles and he plays super hard. He is very fast up and down the court. This winter, I doubt you will find a fast player in Class B on the hardwood. On defense, Cosley showed that he is a tough on-ball defender. He is a pick-pocket with quick hands. TJ's Attack teammates love playing with him. Cosley will be one of the top players in Region 2 this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138815' first='Brady' last='Feller'] |6'3 SG| Minot Ryan

He has fill-it-up ability! Feller can put the ball in the hole. Feller is a solid three-point shooter. He stands out by over-powering his on-ball defender. Feller is a superb finisher through contact. He has no trouble scoring with guys hanging on him. Brady is well-skilled and he will take advantage of what the defense gives him. Feller will be one of the best offensive players in Class B this coming season. Can Feller and the Lions return to State? Brady was one of the best in Region 6 last season, if he keeps working hard, Feller could be an All-State player.

Tyson Mortimer |6'3 G/F| Warren-Alvarado-Oslo

He is the lone Minnesota player on the team. Mortimer is an impressive athlete. Mortimer is strong, quick, and he elevates well. Tyson can get up and SLAM it with power. He is a game-changer on defense. He made life difficult for the opposing team's top player. On offense, Mortimer is an athletic finisher but his jumper from 15-feet was the best part of his game. He will be a stud player in A-ball over in MN this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228070' first='Parker' last='Wallette'] |6'3 SF| Turtle Mountain

He only played in the spring with ND Attack. Parker is a 17-year-old kid with a 40-year-old man's game. Wallette is super skilled and crafty. He plays at his own speed and the defense never gets him sped up. Parker dictates the tempo when he has the ball. With his craftiness, Wallette has no trouble scoring against bigger defenders. He is smart, strong, and he knows how to use his body. Wallette is almost a guaranteed bucket on the block if he gets single coverage and enough time. Expect Parker to put up impressive numbers this winter for the Braves.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050250' first='Erik' last='Foster'] |6'5 PF| Rugby

He is an athletic player at 6'5". Erik is a well put together forward and he can guard multiple positions on defense. Foster's length and athleticism make him a tough defender. His defense and rebounding took the pressure off his teammates. Erik was constantly a double-digit rebounder, he boards up exceptionally well on both ends of the court. Foster is an above-average passer with good vision for his position. Erik's teammates love playing with him, Foster is unselfish and a hard worker. Foster will be one of the best rebounders in Class B this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138808' first='Houston' last='Davis'] |6'4 SF| Turtle Mountain

He only played in the spring tournaments. Davis was one of the best offensive players for Attack. Much like Wallette, Davis is very skilled and crafty. He also plays at his own speed. Houston has unlimited range with his jump shot. He is deadly in transition when shooting the 3-ball. Houston's money shot was the in-rhythm pull-up J from 24-feet. He is a mismatch problem. Guards can not defend him inside the arc and BIGs struggle to stay with him on the outside. He scores from all 3-levels, with his back to the basket, on floaters/runners, from NBA range, and everywhere in between. His old-school game is going to produce big numbers in the WDA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1125690' first='Connor' last='Kerzmann'] |6'1 SG| Garrison

He played injured and banged up all AAU season, so he was not his normal self. This shows how tough and gritty this kid is. Kerzmann will be laid up for a while but he will be back for the basketball season and ready to roar. When 100%, Kerzman is very quick and he is one of the best 3-point shooters in North Dakota.

[player_tooltip player_id='1126978' first='Ayden' last='Stainbrook'] |6'5| SF North Border

He put up nice numbers with ND Attack: 16 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.2 apg, and 2 bpg. Ayden was the best and most productive offensive weapon for coach Foster's team. He is an even-keeled player that will shoot your heart out. Stainbrook is one of the best catch-n-shoot players in North Dakota. He will also do work on the block with a nifty fadeaway. When the defense closes out too hard, Ayden will shot fake and get to the rim. Stainbrook picked up an offer this week from Jamestown. Ayden was All-State last season, expect that again and for his numbers to be even more impressive. Ultimately, Ayden and the Eagles have their sights set on the State Tournament.
