Wisconsin native, Jackson Corbin is a traditional point guard with a unique set of skills. He’s the type of lead guard every basketball player would love to play with, not only is he insanely unselfish, but he takes pride in setting up his teammates on the offensive end. Corbin stands out as a pure dime dropper who sees all of his moving pieces, always knows where his teammates should be and will be at all times, and loves to reward the guys that run the floor with him. This facilitator has the capability of accurately making every pass in the book, from fullcourt bounce passes to no-look throws behind his head, Corbin can also thread the needle incredibly well with one hand due to his phenomenal touch with either hand. He makes the players around him better by always putting them in a position to succeed, Jackson has that rare ability to throw guys open and consistently lead his teammates to the basket with his passing, even if it’s an underhand pass, crosscourt skip pass, or an overhead throw. This floor general plays with full control of the game while proving to be an extension of the coach on the floor.
Simeon Brill | G | Fayetteville, AR
Simeon Brill is a smart ballplayer that moves and scores well within the flow of the offense. Brill has shown a knack for utilizing his basketball IQ to pick defenses apart, you never know what he’s going to do with the ball thanks to his quick decision-making and deceptive eyes that often trick defenders on a straight line drive and timely backdoor cuts which he usually slips in to anytime his defender falls asleep. Brill’s best asset is his off-ball capabilities, not only as a cutter but also as a knockdown spot-up jump-shooter with a great-looking shooting stroke, good form, a strong follow-through, soft touch, impeccable balance, and excellent feet alignment.
Jamarion Lawson | PG | Lewisville, TX
Lethal offensive lefty with a phenomenal feel for the game for his age. Lawson’s a crafty scorer and dynamic ball-handler with each hand with a well-polished knack for creating angles to penetrate the lane combined with sharpshooting capabilities with range that stretches out to the perimeter. Defensively, Lawson has displayed lockdown on-ball defensive potential. This kid pressures the ball with his quick feet and makes guards work for every inch with his lateral movements and he’s even showing an understanding of when and how to help, switch, and trap the ball defensively. Jamarion Lawson has a promising basketball future. Throughout the summer he had instances where he played up with 15U and 16U teams and really held his own and always found a way to make a noticeable impact on the floor.
Landon Morton | PF | Little Rock, AR
Landon Morton is the type of player that’s always in the right spot at the right time to make a play. Morton consistently exploits openings under the basket and finds a way to establish position each time down the floor, even if he doesn’t get the ball he’s always a go-to option who you can count on to be in a great position to clean up the miss or quickly score. Morton’s anticipation for the ball coming off of the rim allows him to create a lot of offense for himself off of putbacks and second-chance shot opportunities. Landon is already a handful to defend at times and the more physical he becomes the tougher he’ll be to contain.
Donovan Davis | C | Freedom, WI
Donovan Davis is a raw prospect with high amounts of potential and a good upside, this kid has yet to scratch the surface of his talents and still has plenty of room to improve along with the likelihood to become one of the taller prospects in his class. Good physical tools, standing at 6-foot-3-inches he has great length, a wide wingspan, and he already uses it well to his advantage. On the defensive end of the court, Davis easily shuts down the paint and limits the opposing offense to one side of the floor. On the offensive end, Davis is unselfish and willing to make the extra pass, he even passes it well out of the post, quickly getting rid of the ball whenever the defenses close in. He shows a solid basketball IQ, he’s versatile, and effective in a multitude of ways with an understanding of when to cut, slip, and pop out. Donovan has proven to be capable of operating with his back to the basket, while facing up, and when spotting up from deep where he has also shown a knack for spreading the floor and shooting off the catch for open three-point opportunities. This postman also does an amazing job of always sprinting down the middle of the floor in transition to make himself a passing option for his lead guards who love to feed their teammates. On the straight line drive, his footwork is decent and is continuing to improve, he’s already starting to show off a smooth and effective euro-step.
