In the Freshman showcase game vs Team 16 Mitchell scored a game high 16 points. Defenders had a difficult time all game keeping Mitchell in front of them as he maneuvered around defenders with his dribble numerous times. When not scoring Mitchell made plays for others as he had team high 5 assists.

Christian Benning Christian Benning 5’7″ | SG Saint Mary’s High School | 2026 MN is a five-foot-seven-inch guard from Saint Mary’s High School and played 2022 AAU with ECI. Benning has a smooth left-handed shot, made two 3’s vs Team 16 on his way to 14 points. He ran in transition to give teammates passing opportunities and Benning made most of his lay-ups. He showcased some playmaking assisting on 3 shots.
Rhikenzo Lee Rhikenzo Lee 6’0″ | SG Totino Grace | 2026 MN is a six-foot guard from Totino Grace that played Team FSA for AAU in 2022. Lee, a crafty left-handed shooter was the lead ball handler for much of his time on the court for Team 16. He finished with only one assist but he attempted to make plays throughout his time on the floor. Over the course of the game he finished with 7 points and looked comfortable when spotted up from the outside. He showcased isolation move on an in and out dribble step-back jump shot.

Preston Hanson Preston Hanson 6’5″ | PF Fertile-Beltrami | 2026 State MN is a six-foot-three-inch forward from Fertile-Beltrami and played 2022 AAU with ECI. Hanson ran the floor very well for his size, makes himself available for penetrating guards and wings, and rebounds well. Hanson scored nine points, most inside, but he did knock down one three showing he has some range on his jump shot. In the game versus Team 16 Hanson had the most impressive block I saw in the six games I witnessed during the Freshman Showcase event.
Highlights
Nathan Ramler Nathan Ramler 6’5″ | PF Chanhassen | 2026 State MN is a six-foot-three-inch forward from Chanhassen and played 2022 AAU with Minnesota Fury. Ramler was efficient and productive with 12 points, he ran the floor well for his size, and one shot sealed his man off and made a short jump hook from in the paint. Ramler also did a good job offensive rebounding short misses and getting quick put backs for what seemed to be easy points.
Deangelo Dungey Deangelo Dungey 6’0″ | SF Breck | 2026 State MN is six-foot guard from Breck High School. Dungey used multiple skills to score and lead Team 16 in scoring in this contest with 13 points. Dungey scored on dribble penetration moves a few times where his defender couldn’t stay with him and twice spotted up from behind the 3-point arc to knock down corner 3s. Dungey showcased a bit of defensive ability in one-on-one situation where he block an attempted jump shot where he recovered from being screened and as a helper he came over to reject a shot in the paint.
Highlights
De’Amontre Scott De’Amontre Scott 5’9″ | CG Minneapolis South | 2026 MN is a five-foot-seven-inch guard from Osseo high school. In the game versus Team 16 Scott provided playmaking by notching four assists but he was also one of the four players to score in double figures as his had 10 points. Although not as tall, Scott seemed to impose himself versus similar sized defenders.
