Season Recap from coach Jason Miller
“Our overall record was 17-8 going up against some of the best teams in our region every weekend. Early in the season, we established ourselves as a disciplined, strong, athletic, and physical team that was a tough match-up for our opponents. We were very balanced and played well together on both ends of the floor. The team practiced and played with great effort and focus, improving our play each weekend.“
“The trademark of our team was a solid, physical defense that used our size, length and athleticism to frustrate our opponents, holding them to 35% FG and 27% from 3 on the season. We averaged 7.8 steals, 3.56 blocks, and 29 rebounds/game while committing fewer fouls than our opponents on the season.”
“Offensively, we had an unselfish, team-first mentality on offense that saw several players have games with double-digit scoring. Our team had a balanced attack and played great, unselfish team offense with great ball movement that valued high percentage shots in the paint and shot inside-out 3’s shooting 33% from three-point on the season. Very versatile and skilled on offense, we were able to switch between a 41, 32, or 5-out depending on our opponent and where we felt we had the advantage. The team was not afraid to go to the rim and converted when fouled shooting 70% at the line on the season.“

Player Breakdown
Comments from coach Miller
#1 – Aiden Samek Aiden Samek 5'9" | PG West Fargo | 2026 State ND |5’6 G| West Fargo
“He was second on the team in scoring, Aiden is aggressive on offense and a capable passer with a high basketball IQ. A solid shooter with great balance, he consistently hit tough shots from behind the arc and the team looked to get him the ball when he was hot. Our best FT shooter (83%), he can attack off the bounce and draw the foul, but is also comfortable posting up smaller guards and using his strength to score over them. Improved his ability to facilitate for others on offense and was a nightmare for opposing guards with his strength and physicality on defense and had 30 steals on the season.“
#2 – Owen Scoville Owen Scoville 5'11" | SG West Fargo | 2026 State ND |5’9 G/F| West Fargo
“A smooth & athletic lefty slasher that can get to the rim and is a great defender. His season was off to a great start, but was cut short due to injury. Expect him to be back and better than ever next season.“
#3 – Beckett Pfau Beckett Pfau 6'0" | SG West Fargo | 2026 State ND |5’7 G| West Fargo
“A high energy guard who brings the juice every game. Very skilled athlete and great teammate who is very creative. He plays unselfishly on offense, looking to put his teammates in position to score. Beckett plays with great balance in the paint and is a very good FT shooter. Pfau has the ability to lockdown top guards from the opposing team and he played great D for us all season. His game and skill set will only continue to improve as he gains size and strength.“
#13 – Collin Williams Collin Williams 6'4" | PF Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND |6’1 F| Fargo Davies
“A strong, fast, athletic, wing/big. He finishes with both hands, runs the floor in transition and is a rebounding machine at both ends of the floor. Fourth on the team in scoring, he led the team in rebounding, averaging over 7/game and blocks with 33 on the season. Defensively, he protects the rim with size, strength and shot blocking ability, but is also athletic enough to guard on the perimeter and had 33 steals on the season. As the season went on, he developed his perimeter skills and attacks the rim with no fear. He will be a tough match-up in high school as his ball handling and shooting continue to develop.“
#14 – Cameron Miller Cameron Miller 6'1" | PG Fargo Davies | 2026 State ND |5’10 G| Fargo Davies
“Athletic point guard with great court vision, has the ability to find the open man and push the ball in transition. A very capable shooter, he started to use his strength and explosiveness to get to the rim and draw fouls as the season progressed. Miller plays very unselfish on offense, he was our third leading scorer while also leading the team in assists (40). Always plays his best when his best is needed. Cam was a playmaker on both ends of the floor and could count on him to make the shot on offense, get the steal or take away the other team’s top scorer on defense. Led the team in steals (40) while committing the fewest fouls on the season (11).“
#23 – Sam Glandt Sam Glandt 6'2" | SG West Fargo | 2026 State ND |5’11 G| West Fargo
“He is a crafty, aggressive lefty guard/wing that can finish with both hands and score in multiple ways. Sam plays with great intensity at both ends of the floor and can guard multiple positions on defense with his size and strength. He is at his best scoring in transition or attacking the rim and drawing fouls. Opponents have to respect his outside shooting and has a great shot fake that helps him attack off the bounce.“
#24 – Connor Duden |5’11 G| Red Lake County Central
“He is a smooth, athletic guard who plays with a calm demeanor on both ends of the floor. He was our top scorer, second in rebounding and blocks. He is an excellent passer with vision and was second on the team in assists. On offense, he is very versatile and can play multiple positions. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and can score at the rim or behind the arc. A great jumper, Connor has excellent body control, he almost hangs in the air when he attacks the rim on offense or sky for a rebound on defense. With his size, strength and athletic ability, he can guard multiple positions on defense.“
#30 – Colton Cruchet Colton Cruchet 5'11" | SG Central Cass | 2026 State ND |5’9 G| Central Cass
“A high energy, lefty wing/guard who makes hustle plays at both ends of the court. An absolute beast running the floor in transition. He really improved his off ball defense as well as his vision, passing and patience on offense as the year progressed. Loose ball, rebound, jump ball or steal, Colt always seemed to make an effort play when we needed it.“
#32 – Preston Hanson |6’4 PF| Fertile-Beltrami
“Tough, strong big with good size and length who is an excellent shooter from 3 (37% on the season). Has a good feel for the game and he can score/facilitate for teammates in the post. On defense, Preston is a great rebounder who uses his length to alter shots or block opponents who try to attack the rim. Preston is already a good defender in the post, he will only improve as he continues to grow and gets stronger.“
