PHD: What is your best memory from this AAU season?
Coach Haman: “Going 4-0 in a tournament and all of the guys having a ton of fun playing with each other no matter the score.“
PHD: Who were a few of your hardest workers?
Coach Haman: “ Chase Christensen Chase Christensen 6'0" | SF Richardton-Taylor | 2027 State ND : Fought hard every game and consistently rebounded the ball for us in crucial moments.“
“ Zakai Harildstad Zakai Harildstad 5'11" | SG Bismarck Century | 2027 State ND : Elite defender the whole year that could contain the other team’s best player at any point during a game.“
PHD: Can you talk about a few of your best defenders?
Coach Haman: “ Zakai Harildstad Zakai Harildstad 5'11" | SG Bismarck Century | 2027 State ND : Always guarded the best player from other team and has quick feet that read the defense very well.“
“Cooper Bailes: Picked up full court and consistently turned the ball causing numerous turnovers throughout the year.“
PHD: Who was your best rebounder?
Coach Haman: “ Ethan Retterath Ethan Retterath 6'1" | SF Washburn | 2027 State ND : His height gave him an advantage but he also had grit that allowed him to outwork other players and get 2nd chance opportunities.“
PHD: Can you talk about your best shooter?
Coach Haman: “Brody Shepard: Was very effective in clutch situations, thought to shoot before the ball was even in his hands.”
PHD: Who improved the most over the season?
Coach Haman: “Tavian Hawk: Had a slow start to the year but gradually become one of the best two-way players on our team. Shot the ball well but also could defend any position on the court.“
PHD: When you needed a big bucket, who was your “go-to” player?
Coach Haman: “ Ethan Retterath Ethan Retterath 6'1" | SF Washburn | 2027 State ND : His size and athleticism put him ahead of other kids and his will to win makes him an extreme threat on both sides of the court.“
