– Elevation Flyers
Homer and Stevens play with each other all the time as they are AAU teammates and high school teammates at Mountain Vista. Both of them are good passers and make hard cuts, they have great instincts as teammates knowing when to find each other on open cuts. Both of these prospects also make high-energy plays on both ends of the floor. Stevens is a very good rim protector and Homer has surprising bounce which allows him to be an above-average rim protector from the guard position. These two will be a problem this year in 6A and have also both been offered from Metro State Denver.

– Rocky Mountain Select
Mills and Basson made up one of the deadliest guard/wing combos in the state. Both Mills and Basson are very skilled with the ball in their hands with creative shot-making ability. They also were both good kick-out options for each other as they both shot well in catch-and-shoot situations. Their shot-making abilities made them one of the most exhilarating duos as they played well off of each other energy.

– Team Daum
Garver and Horsfall are another set of high school teammates who teamed up during the AAU season. These guys really were impressive with their ability to fit in and strive in a new system. Horsfall was a very vocal player on the court and a great communicator. Garver set the tone by doing the gritty work like blocking shots and grabbing boards and was an impressive scorer. These guys were huge parts of what allowed Team Daum to be one of the top 17U teams in the region.

– ATR Elite
Adam and Randall made the twin towers for ATR Elite, allowing them to have a positional advantage over many teams. Both of them showed their length and protected the rim well, and pulled down rebounds. This team would commonly go to the post or find a cutting Randall, where he likes to draw in the defense and then dish off the ball to Adam. Adam is also a solid passer out of double teams where he can often Randall cutting to the basket.

– Colorado Miners
This Colorado Miners squad made it hard for me to choose a duo from as the whole team plays with great chemistry but the combo of Baker’s ability to get to the rim with Afraimi’s sneaky good cutting and spot ability is what stood out the most. Baker is a big guard who is good at getting to the rim off of his dribble, he is also a very willing passer who made many kick outs to Afraimi for three-point shots. They made a very good backcourt that could make a few shots at the rim, then draw in the defense and find shooters on the perimeter.
