1.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1171694" first="Tyron" last="Wright"] (Des Moines East) - 12.7 rebounds per game
Wright has established himself as one of the state's elite rebounders in his first two high school seasons, averaging 10.9 boards a game as a freshman and 12.7 as a sophomore. He's a mobile, athletic 6-6 big man with great hands and a relentless motor on the glass. He pulled down 5.4 offensive rebounds a game last season, which helped contribute to his 13.7 points a night.

2.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="956868" first="Pryce" last="Sandfort"] (Waukee Northwest) - 10.3
The future Hawkeye is the top returning scorer in the class, and he averaged a double-double last year from his wing position. He's long, athletic, and tough, and he uses his length to effectively control the glass on both ends of the floor. Also a talented playmaker, he is more than capable of pulling down a defensive rebound and leading the break.

A highly skilled scorer and playmaker, Kingery became a reliable rebounder last year as well for the Indians, particularly on the defensive end, pulling down 6 defensive boards a game. He uses his length and athleticism to his advantage, skying over opposing players to snag errant shots.
4.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1239874" first="Braeden" last="Carlson"] (Norwalk) - 7.3
Carlson shined in his first year as a starter, averaging 12.9 points and 7.3 rebounds for a young Warriors team that should be among the most improved in 4A this season.
5.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1367393" first="Kadyn" last="Proctor"] (Southeast Polk) - 7.3
One of the top offensive tackle prospects in the country, many of the same attributes (good hands, quick feet, big frame) that make him an elite lineman also make him a dominant rebounder on the hardwood.
6.) 2023 Paul Henry (Muscatine) - 7.2
Henry's stat line from last year looks like a Dennis Rodman throwback, averaging twice as many rebounds as points as a junior (3.6).
7.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1367458" first="David" last="Caulker"] (Des Moines North) - 7.1
Another future Iowa football player, Caulker is an athletic forward who uses his quick second jump to control the glass, particularly on the offensive end, where he averaged over 4 offensive boards a night for the Polar Bears.
8.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1256301" first="David" last="Gorsline"] (Pleasant Valley) - 7.0
Gorsline is an undersized forward at 6-2, but he plays with a non-stop motor and is a great athlete with excellent hands. He's the ultimate glue guy for the Spartans, defending multiple positions, scoring when the opportunity presents itself, and dominating the glass.
9.) 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1469837" first="Jameel" last="Montgomery"] (Waterloo East) - 6.9
An athletic 6-3 wing, Montgomery did a great job rebounding from his perimeter spot last season, finishing second on the Trojans in boards. His work on the offensive glass helped contribute to a sterling 53.1 FG% as well.

A late bloomer and intriguing prospect, Weiner is a 6-8 big man who is coming off a productive summer with the Barnstormers. Following the graduations of a number of major scorers from last year's River Kings roster, he'll be asked to take another step up as a senior.
