Terron Garrett Terron Garrett 6'5" | SG CBC | 2025 State MO (CBC): A smooth 6’5″ wing who continues to emerge with his overall offensive package. The lengthy guard displayed a nice shooting stroke from well beyond the 3-point line. He also used his height to back down defenders to get to his spot to shoot over them in the lane. He hit the game winning jumper at the buzzer to give his team the victory in the 2025 Showcase Game.
Dehrio McCaskill (Springfield Central): The 6’3″ guard was one of the most impressive athletes at the camp. He is an excellent slasher who displayed a quick first step and a burst to the basket. He is an excellent finisher at the rim and he also has some jaw-dropping explosiveness. He threw down a few dunks over the weekend that really had everyone in the building buzzing.
Vincent Frie (Park Hill): A 6’3″ shooting guard from the Kansas City area who has good size and smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. He hit three in a row in the early stages of the game I watched him. He plays the game under control and he doesn’t try to force things. He is a solid ball handler who can get to his spots and shoot over defenders. He is also an unselfish player who will make the right pass.
Kevion Smith (Normandy): A 6’0″ lefty guard who plays with a high motor and who is also very unselfish. His court vision was very good as he had some nifty passes in the transition game, including a pair of the no-look variety. His handles were also solid and he could knock down the open 3-pointer as well as the pull up jumper in the lane.
DJ Johnson (John Burroughs): A slender 6’4″ wing who has good length and a solid skill set. He had an impressive showing during Saturday’s second day of games. He stayed on the attack and did a nice job of finishing at the basket and raising up to his the short jumper in the lane. He was also adept and knocking down the Corner 3-pointer. His upside is high and he is developing into a fine wing prospect.
