College coaches looking for that multifaceted guard should take a hard look at Kroetsch. Over grassroots season, he proved to be a shot taker and a shot maker. Kroetsch has a really pure looking jumper that he can bury from behind the arc…..with consistency. He’s very comfortable pulling up and shooting off the bounce and has demonstrated good shot selection.
Pierson is a talented guard that has flown under the radar a bit. Well, coaches and scouts, this is your opportunity. Pierson is as tough as they come and he can play with and through contact. His jumper has taken another step forward over the last calendar year and should be considered a legitimate strength in his game. Pierson brings energy on the defensive end as well where he can effectively defend either guard position.

Sparks is a really solid all around athlete. He has good hip movement, allowing smooth lateral movement. Sparks can pick up pace quickly, with or without the ball in his hands. He’s effective when driving the lane with his ability to finish with control in traffic as well as dump the ball off to teammates for the bucket. Sparks could really send a message on Saturday.
Brooks has been hard at work over the spring and summer refining his game and adding to his skill set. The work has been successful and shouldn’t go unnoticed. The young man is explosive in open space and can play the game at a very fast pace. Brooks has some flash and flare to his game and is the type of player that can change the momentum of a game very quickly.

Ritter is a player that could turn a lot of heads at the David Barns Showcase. He’s another kid that probably flies too much under the radar and deserves some looks at the event. Ritter is a solid shooter with 3 point range on his jumper. He can sway and lull his defender to sleep, then pop off a triple off the bounce.
