Sion Cleveland Sion Cleveland 5'10" | PG Houston Lutheran North Academy | 2025 TX 2025 6’0 Memorial High School, TX (1 Dream 1 Team Sports 2025)
Sion is a confident combo guard who thrives at getting to his shot off the bounce from all three levels of the floor. The combo guard has come a long way over the last few circuit months and is now a dynamic scorer from the midrange and beyond the arc. During one of the games this weekend he hit an off balance game winner coming out of the pick and roll. He used the screen tremendously to his advantage and got a great look at an almost runner/ floater from deep. He is showing off a tremendous amount of IQ for a point guard and is beginning to use it to set up looks for his teammates and himself. I was very impressed by the ease in which he scored from all three levels of the floor and how he hunts for his midrange shots on a regular basis.
Mayson McGrew 2025 5’11 Lubbock Cooper High School, TX (Impact Sports 2025)
Mayson is a skilled combo guard who showed an ability to affect the game with and without the ball. He scored at a very high percentage with his shot off the bounce from all three levels, hitting a few step back shots after shaking his defender. He confidently manipulated the defense with his handle and ability to pass his teammates open. He created open looks with his aware passes, putting them one step in front of the defense and allowing his teammates to get up high percentage shots. He has a great motor, which is probably the most intriguing aspect to his game. He fights very well on the glass for his size, getting offensive and defensive boards. After collecting defensive rebounds he has his head up to make the right play or push the tempo with his handle. He is also an aware help defender, who came over with active hands to strip the ball from his opponents on their way up.
Derrick Brown Derrick Brown 5'8" | PG Bowie | 2025 TX 2025 5’9 Mansfield Summit High School (AYG Lakers 2025)
Derrick is a high level point guard who has all of the skills you would need for a complete next generation floor general. He calmly knocked down shots off the bounce, and is not afraid to pull it as a defender is sprinting at him to close out. He routinely makes defenses pay for relaxed coverage on the perimeter. Where he really stood out to me was his ability to put just the right amount of touches on his passes to find cutting teammates. His ability to constantly create opportunities for his teammates in the full court and the half court allowed them to quickly get shots up, but also made easy looks for them to find. He has complete point guard like control to the game and thrives at picking apart the defense, at times by simply manipulating them with his eyes.
Fletcher Cravens Fletcher Cravens 5'10" | SG Plano West | 2025 TX 2025 5’10 Hebron High School (Valor/ Union 2025 Purple)
Fletcher is a high level guard prospect with his ability to score from beyond the arc. He simply caught fire from beyond the arc, scoring off the bounce in bunches. I watched him hit four three pointers just in the first half of his first game on Friday night, including an opportunity at the unconventional four point play. His release point is very consistent which allows him to replicate his shooting motion off the catch or bounce. I was very impressed with how well he scored from beyond the arc, moving without the ball and creating separation without even handling the ball. The threat of his three point shots was on full display and used it to create driving lanes for himself and his teammates. The defense knew they had to key on him in order to shut him down, which forced them to be a step late as a help side defender. I would like to see him get more aggressive with his handle, and show a more willingness to evenly attack across all three levels of the floor. He can get his shot off over anyone, and its not going to be too long before he figures it all out!
Jaylen Mayo Jaylen Mayo 5'10" | CG Lake Dallas | 2025 TX 2025 Guard 5’9 Lake Dallas High School
Jaylen is a sniper from seemingly every spot on the floor, he has a pure stroke with deep NBA range confidence. As the game is shifting to a more outside focused game, Mayo is on the front end of the trend when it comes to shooting. I would like to see him more willing to attack the basket and get to his spots in the midrange and just along the three-point line rather than settling for 25 footers.
