moves into the top 3
The 5-foot-11 point guard moved up two spots – only behind the top prospect Somtochukwu Cyril and Briarcrest standout Jaye Nash – and was well-deserving of his new position. Tenner was impressive in the month of June, while playing for Cordova High School. His jump shot is still hitting the bottom of the net. Tenner is still giving it a 100 percent on both ends of the court. Tenner’s ball handles look sharper as ever. The sophomore has an improved roster around him for the 2022 season, so it’s expected for his assist average to increase. Tenner pushes the basketball up the floor with ease and has zero issues finding the open man.

moves inside the top 7
The Brentwood Academy product moved up to No. 6. He had a solid showing with Brad Beal Elite 16U over the summer by running the offense and taking good care of the basketball. Tanner isn’t flashy at all. He has a quick, first-step to get past defenders and make right-handed floaters at the rim. Tanner is very efficient inside the 3-point line as he’s able to make short jumpers.

makes his way inside the top 5
The 6-2 point guard moved up to No. 4 in the latest rankings. Carter showed he’s capable of scoring 20 or more points in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League with Team Thad 16U. He’s dependable as a top two scoring option most nights when he steps onto the court. Carter has always had a nice shooting touch. He’s always been crafty enough to get to his spots. Carter is a walking bucket.

continues to impress
The 6-5 wing moved up one spot to No. 10 in the latest rankings. As far as the wings go in this class, Alston is the most intriguing one because of his length and intangibles. Thanks to his long arms, the junior can deflect passes. Alston runs the floor very well and can finish at the rim. He has a nice shot release and elevates high enough to get a great look at the rim. Over the summer, Alston’s separation has improved.
Christian Gilliland from Northpoint Christian moved up three spots to No. 5. Billy Richmond III is No. 6. Da’Ron Hall is No. 8, and Daniel Cochran sits at No. 9.
