Brady Chambers Brady Chambers 6'7" | PF Lyons | 2024 State IL (Big 3 16U)
Chambers is a well built 6’6” power forward that has a face up game. Pick and pop along with spot up jumpers are definitely in his repertoire. Looks very comfortable letting it fly while also being able to rim run and rebounding in his area.
Nick Taylor (Fundamental U 16U)
Taylor will take over for Nick Martinelli as Glenbrook South’s next front court standout. The 6’5” power forward has a strong frame with excellent quickness in the paint where he scored with regularity. Crashes the offensive glass, runs the floor, and can hit an occasional three. Has some face up potential in there.
Malcolm Morris Malcolm Morris 6'7" | C Urbana | 2024 State IL (EG10 16U)
This Urbana power forward is a lefty post that finishes well on dump offs in the dunker position. Good hands in traffic catching dishes and going up for finishes. Tough rebounder and post defender.
Charlie Farrell Charlie Farrell 6'9" | C Naperville North | 2023 State IL (M14 17U)
Farrell had a big outing for M14 in their win we caught. The five man is a major sleeper in the rising senior class as he has legit size and strength. Good positional defender and area rebounder. Runs the floor well for his size and shows athleticism finishing above the rim. Steal for a small college.
Matthew Moore Matthew Moore 6'7" | PF Hillcrest | 2023 State IL (Chicago Lockdown 17U)
Moore is among the top power forwards on the board in the 2023 class. The Joliet West post is an explosive big man that had his moments over the weekend. Rebounds well both in and out of his area. Very good playing out of the dunker spot where he can throw down big dunks. Pick/roll finishes and as the game went along he displayed his range on mid-range jumpers along with pick/pop threes. Low-major plus prospect without question.
Joel Brown Joel Brown 6'8" | C Marshall | 2023 State IL (Flee Club 17U)
Brown was one of my favorite emerging prospects all spring and summer. The Marshall big man has great size and a big frame. Loves the drop step, hook shots, and spin moves on the block. Absorbs contact and finishes through it. Soft touch around the hoop and rebounds well on the offensive glass snatching them with his strong hands and putting it right back in.
Jake Riemer (Breakaway 16U)
Five man that has a nice frame. He was most effective out of the dunker spot finishing dump off passes from his guards. Rebounds well in his area and is light on his feet showing some mobility.
Aidyn Boone Aidyn Boone 6'5" | C Central | 2023 State IL (Full Package 17U)
Boone closed out a strong summer in Chicago. The Libertyville center is a thick bodied post that can really shoot it from distance spotting up. For his size he runs the floor well getting transition points.
Andrew Soenksen Andrew Soenksen 6'8" | PF Plainfield East | 2023 State IL (Illinois T-Wolves 17U)
Soenksen has steadily seen his stock rise over the last year. Long and lanky four man that can really protect the rim. Was excellent turning shots back at the rim over and over again despite his lack of ideal strength. Also used his length getting steals and taking them the other way. Offensively he brings versatility as a plus shooter and mobile finisher.
Trevon Roots (Brook Town Force 17U)
Roots was one of the breakout players of the event. Standing at 6’6” the Marmion Academy power forward has a really physical body. He altered shots on the defensive end and was a good rebounder on both ends. Flashed some face up skill as well. Could be a really nice small college or JUCO find!
