Wings and hybrid forwards are dominating the game as we lean toward “positionless basketball”. Players that can do a bit of everything while covering multiple positions will always be in style. The nine players below showed defensive switchability and offensive versatility all weekend. Check out Pt. 1 here.

Nealy is the first hybrid forward on our list for a reason. Standing at 6'4 the 2024 prospect scores with his back to the basket, can hit the three, and create driving lanes out of the midrange. He lives off second chance opportunities using his wide frame to eat up space below the rim.

Jack Bommarito | I am 3 Prospects

Bommarito is a tough customer on the wing. At 6'5 he has a nice combination of three point shooting and downhill scoring. He operates well out of the triple threat. The 2023 guard had multiple 20+ point games during the weekend.

Denarion Whitmore | Hi Octane

Whitmore is a versatile forward that was tenacious on the boards and a skilful driver. Listed everywhere between 6'5 to 6'8, the 2023 prospect has a nose for offensive rebounds, gets downhill, and makes plays out of drives. Between his build and effort level, he's a productive player.

Mikah Hunt | Sparks

Hunt's football background was obvious on the court. He's a tough physical guard that hurts defenses when he has momentum. The 2025 guard attacks downhill in the half court and is a killer in transition. His toughness helped take his man out of the game.

Kamran Akbar | Arkansas Athletes

Akbar covered every single position in the game I watched. He blocked shots, scored out of the post, and hit threes. His ability to score and pass out of drives added to his scoring repertoire. The 6'4 Akbar spent most of the game playing out of position but still showed his offensive game that's more suited for the wing.

Dante Adams | Arkansas Athletes

Adam made contributions while having several other ball dominant guards around him. He knocked down a three, scored through contact in transition, created turnovers, and made plays for others in the half court.

Artavious Smith | Next Generation Academy

Smith's effort level on the court turned into a productive game at the 16U level. He knocked down a corner three, made several trips to the free line from strong drives, and played well in transition. On defense, he recorded a transition block at the rim and a steal to round out a game where he did a little of everything.

Daykwon Joseph | Canada Elite

Joseph is an incredibly athletic 6'5 wing with two-way upside. He brings energy, slashing, and a constant motor to the court. He's still learning the game, but from every athletic perspective, he belongs on the court. The 2024 prospect took every defender in front of him off the dribble for big time finishes at the rim.

Noah Ramsbottom | Canada Elite

Ramsbottom is a long 6'6 wing, with all the tools needed to be an effective player. Because of his height and length, he can play and defend several positions. He's new to the team, so it limited his production on day 1, but how he fits in the game is undeniable.
