Saturday’s Super Seven

<p>We were in attendance on Saturday at Iona Prep for the chsaa team camp. It is attended by many college coaches and is an extremely well run event. When you put together over 25 high school programs it is a task to make sure it runs on time and gives players, college coaches and scouts  an ample opportunity to see as many players as you can. It was a success, great credit to all the coaches and chsaa staff for putting it on. (pictured#12)</strong></p> <p>Should be on every college radar. A terrific basketball body. Handles the ball with smoothness and flair. Showed deep three ball range. Scores on the drive with control and strength.   </p> <p><strong>A J Rodriguez           6”4         2023.          Iona prep</strong></p> <p>As impressive has anybody on Saturday. He showed all of his talented game on this day. He can score so many different ways. A versatile player and scorer. Has good size but showed how well he can handle the ball and weave his way to the rim.</p> <p><strong>Nasir Muhammed        6”0.         2023.         Xaverian</strong></p> <p>Extremely quick. Explosive off the bounce. Showed the ability to get downhill and put pressure on the defense. Finishes at the rim through contact.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1204857" first="Jalen" last="Lyn"].        6”3    2023.    Mount St Michael</strong></p> <p>At this event Jalen showed what he did during the past high school season. He can score in bunches. A dynamic scorer. Real good pull up game. Playing in the flow of the game he is a flat out scorer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1204261" first="Jaiden" last="Williams"].      6”3.    2023     Cardinal Hayes</strong></p> <p>A long athletic frame. Will be expected to lead this year for Cardinal Hayes. A tremendous rebounder. He uses his long arms and legs to alter shots and can defend the perimeter. Has excellent rotation on his jumper. Big time scoring potential. Should  be a double - double player.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="992509" first="Brandon" last="Williams"]        6”9      2023   Christ the King</strong></p> <p>We have Brandon at #2 in our rankings. He is all deserving of that and might even climb up a spot after this event. He has grown into his body. Can score many different ways. A force on the boards. He has the versatility to play many different positions on both ends of the floor. Well deserving of the rankings and all the high offers he has received</p> <p><strong style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Mitchel, Wiggan.         6”4         2023          St Edmunds</strong></p> <p>Another player in this group that just has a terrific basketball body. Outstanding rebounder from the wing position. He showed that he can grab the rebound in traffic and lead the break. Excellent pull up game. Has excellent lift on his jump shot.
