NBA Stylistic Comparison: 2021 Nuggets DeMarcus Cousins.
Garman stands all of 6-foot-6 and impressed with his shooting touch out to approximately 15′. His base was solid on each jump shot. He did not get much lift, but with his height, that might play fine for years.
Ideally, Lucas Garman Lucas Garman 6'6" | PF Maryville | 2024 State TN will improve rebounding outside of his area. With strong arms and hands, Garman does fine rebounding balls above his head, but a good rebounder hunts down loose balls not quite assured. He could pad his stats with this addition to his game.
He will surely find himself free after he screens high or simply steps away to 8-10′. Making these consistently, which Garman showed Sunday that he can absolutely do, will make his value to any evaluating college program strong.

A year ago Rodney Henderson Rodney Henderson 6'1" | PG Tyner Academy | 2025 State TN earned Top Underclassman during this same combine. He did it again. Two years in a row he also earned All-Star recognition. How? Rodney is a fantastic ball-handler with unnaturally mature court presence. He sees it all and makes smart choices most of the time.
Henderson’s sprint time (3.6, 3.7) was very fast. Only three campers bested his times.
He could show more eagerness to incorporate his teammates, but rarely do combine participants play unselfishly. It is a showcase event after all. Rodney’s biggest improvement in the last year was both gaining and understanding how to use his strength. He is now able to take a little bump and finish. He is slightly better as an outside shooter, though still needs to improve to be deadly from deep. He was and will be one of the best drivers of the basketball in the entire state, regardless of age.
Outside shooting is an area Rodney needs to focus on during his off-season. He will absolutely be an elite penetrator, but his value will soar once he can prove that he is a consistent three-point shooter too.
