Alex Wood displayed some of the best low post footwork of any player on the circuit. The 6-foot-3-inch forward ate defenses alive with his patient, precise, and effective post moves. Wood has a great way of getting a feel for his defender before turning around their weak side to get to a spot for a clean look at the hoop, showing terrific body control and finishing instincts around the rim. He puts up points so easily and at such a high rate in the paint that he draws double teams, triple teams, and eventually, the entire defense begins to collapse in on him just to get the ball out of his hands quicker. I also love how Alex Wood plays with good controlled physicality and toughness alongside his willingness to battle to establish position on each and every possession down the floor, he keeps a strong lower base and doesn’t allow himself to be moved off of his block by one man.
Parker Sevenstar | Center | Fort Smith, AR
This 6-foot-5 center has proven to be a complete mismatch on the offensive end and a paint clogger on the defensive end, his sheer presence in the middle of the floor allows his teammates to grab rebounds and take off in transition for fast break buckets due to his boxing out. Sevenstar has shown an abundance of potential scoring the rock with his back to the basket, he has good hands, catches most passes thrown his way, and looks to post up on the left block where he takes a powerful pound dribble while backing his opponent down before immediately drop stepping to turn over his shoulder with a nice touch off of the glass. Smart and unselfish with a good basketball IQ and court vision that is steadily developing along with his ability to quickly pass out of double teams to open teammates outside of the lane. Defensively, Parker Sevenstar is as disciplined as they come, he often swats shots without leaving his feet, forcing opposing teams to settle for mid-range and outside jumpshots or take tough high arcing interior jumpers.
Kingston Little | Forward | Bailey, NC
6-foot-2 hybrid forward with big guard skills and potential. Kingston Little has proven to be a true scoring threat from the inside out that can beat teams with brute force or finesse. Little has the ability to physically overpower his opponent and also put the ball on the floor to create his own shot in transition and within the arc. This kid is a freight train on the dribble drive with a fantastic knack for sealing off defenders with the use of his off arm under the rim and on his way to the basket where he’s sure to finish in an array of ways. This instinctual bucket getter also knows when to stop on a dime and pull up for the mid-range jumpshot where Kingston shows a fluid jumper off the bounce, catch, and with his feet set, his range also extends out beyond the perimeter.
Malachi Summons | Power Forward | Sherwood, AR
When it comes to Malachi Summons, his calling card is productivity. This kid is a high motor game-changer who plays with an insane amount of effort, a tremendous work ethic, and an ability to run the floor like a gazelle. Summons’ athleticism is on its way to being off the charts, he’s shown great leaping ability as he bounces off the ground like a spring to rebound or block shots at their peak.
Miles Flemons | Center | Tulsa, OK
Miles Flemons is a 6-foot-6, physical, big-body postman with an intimidating post presence and an elite combination of overwhelming size, strength, and skills. This Oklahoma native has consistently stood out as a dominant area rebounder who is a terror to box out. Flemons does a great job of forcing his man out of the paint to snag rebounds on both sides of the ball and also to push his man out of a comfortable scoring position on the defensive end. On the offensive side of things, the lefty displays impressive post skills that he has been developing well, he’s very nimble and quick on his feet, and can smoothly spin and pivot when looking to score in the lane. Miles Flemons is exceptional at utilizing his physical tools to his advantage, showing great use of his length to receive the ball high and quickly turn his shoulder to score over shorter defenders with a soft jump hook which he has shown good touch on and also by leaning into taller players to draw space for his shot. Solid athlete at his stature with a good motor, Flemons shows no trouble running the floor, and has leaping ability and mobility that will improve vastly throughout his high school career.
