Ethan Wall-Atim Ethan Wall-Atim 6'4" | PF Notre Dame De La Baie Academy | 2023 State WI — PF — Team 1848 — 17U
Team 1848 sliced through the competition this past weekend and were crowned champions in the 17U division. Wall-Atim’s play was a major reason why 1848 was able to walk away with the title. The power forward played his role to perfection. He scored well in the paint, rebounded, played excellent defense, and made some great hustle plays. Wall-Atim is a name that college programs should know moving forward.
Luke Dobbs Luke Dobbs 6'0" | PG St. Thomas Academy | 2024 State MN — PG — Minnesota Select — 16U
Dobbs was no-doubt one of the best pure passers in the gym this past weekend. The point guard possesses tremendous court vision. He pairs this court vision with the ability to hit moving targets at difficult angles. I love how creative Dobbs is when he is passing. He is not afraid to be fancy. I also thought that Dobbs did a great job of running Select’s offense. When he was on the court, things ran much smoother.
Peter Lattos Peter Lattos 6'5" | SF West Salem | 2023 State WI — PF — Coulee Country — 17U
Lattos’ play in Minnesota was a huge reason why his Coulee Country squad was able to make a deep tournament run. The power forward is a strong, physical prospect who can make some impressive plays on both ends of the court. Lattos is an advanced ball handler and efficient shooter. He is also a solid rebounder and defender who doesn’t make too many mistakes.
Kodi Miller — PG — Coulee Country — 17U
Miller was playing with a lot of confidence at the Hard Work Region Finals. And for good reason. In an upset win over a very good Wisconsin Crusaders team, Miller hit some really difficult shots. The point guard was pulling up from deep. Miller is a true floor-general who was a key player for Coulee Country. If he continues to play at a high-level, look for Miller to make a real impact this high school season.
Jack Field — SF — House Of Wellness All Stars — 17U
Even though Field doesn’t get the recognition that he probably deserves, I still think that his upside is very high. The House Of Wellness All Stars prospect is a 6-foot-6 small forward who can score in bunches. Field is a three-level scorer who thrives in the mid-range. When he gets around the free throw line, Field does a good job of using his size to shoot over shorter defenders.
Aidan Chislom Aidan Chislom 6'5" | SF McFarland | 2023 State WI — F — Wisconsin Academy — 17U
Chislom is a tough, gritty player who does not have an ounce of quit in him. The forward has a very high motor, as he always seems to be making the hustle plays. He rebounds very well on both ends. Using his strength and physicality, Chislom is able to overpower opponents around the rim. Chislom is the type of player that really impacts winning.
