Let’s check out some of the Notables I watched at the Georgia International Convention Center where we saw the 2024 and 2025 classes duke it out.
Jason Kim Jason Kim 6'1" | PG Manhattan | 2024 State KS , 6’ G, SSA Elite 2024 White: Had one of the better shooting performances in the gym today drilling 7 threes and finishing with 26 points in the ball game. The shot chart looked good from all around the perimeter and off quick one dribble pull ups and catch and shoot 3’s.. Made some big shots late including 5 buckets in a row in a stretch in the second half. Strong guard who shoots it well with some playmaking ability through the pass.
Caeden Twedell, 5’11 PG, B&B Academy, 2024: Really liked his ability to lead his team in the backcourt as a point guard. Pretty solid poise, handle against pressure, and got his guys some good looks. Good frame as well with a high IQ, very solid point guard prospect.
Chase Meeking Chase Meeking 6'2" | CG Union Parish | 2025 State LA , 6’2 G, Elevation Basketball 2024, Grad Year 2025: One of the better two way guards in the early game windows going for 20 plus in their game today. A three level athletic scorer with great balance of his drives, does not get knocked off his line, and drilled some tough jumpers. Got his hands on a lot of passes and picked some pockets. Can play either guard spot effectively.
Marquez Tate Marquez Tate 6'2" | PF Summerfield | 2024 State LA , 6’4 F, Elevation Basketball, 2024: Big bodied forward who does a great job of ceiling in the post either up the high side or with his back to the basket. Showcased the touch with a nice baby hook over his left shoulder. Big time rebounder and paint protector. Passes well from the post as well. Has some upside to him for sure as a post prospect.
Jaki Bell, 6’3 G, Metro Elite, 2025: Very athletic and strong guard who was very active on both ends of the floor. Was a terror getting to the rim off the dribble in transition and capitalized with his ability to put pressure on the defense with multiple and 1 finishes. Did a good job of collapsing the defense and kicking it to shooters. Also had a couple really nice slashes to the lane in the half court.
Treyvon Ali, 6’2 W, Powerhouse Sports, 2024: Really long and athletic wing player that had some big time finishes and dunks in transition and did a really good job of anticipation passes and getting out on the break. Hit a couple of catch and shoot threes from the wing as well. Really long frame and burst off the bounce, for sure a player to keep tabs on. Plays with a ton of passions and energy for the game as well.
Cedric Horton Cedric Horton 6'4" | SG Richmond | 2025 State #321 Nation IN , 6’3 G, Team Teague 2025: Guard that plays with great pace and change of pace in the back court. Versatile multiple position guard who is good off the ball as well. Nice game in the middle area with his floater game and mid range. Can knock down the three ball both off the bounce and off catch. Horton is also a very gifted passer and is a good anticipator of where guys are cutting and coming off screens.
