CHSAA Team Camp Standouts

A big who is very good shooting the ball in transition. Clears space and rebounds the ball off the defensive glass. He showed he can score at all three levels. Explosive scorer in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id=’1204256’ first=’Kelvin’ last=’Collado’] 6”5 2023 Mount St Michael</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Defends the post. Uses his strong body to rebound in traffis or clear out space. Does a really good job of starting the break with his outlet pass. When he gains position in the post he initiates contact and scores inside. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id=’1361733’ first=’Brandon’ last=’Stores’] Jr. 6”5 2024 St Raymonds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brandon has a strong body which enables him to score inside or create contact and finish. He showed the ability to drive the ball off the wing and draw fouls.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id=’1203176’ first=’Anthony’ last=’Graziano’] 6”6 2023 St Joseph by the Sea</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Anthony is a fundamentally sound post player. He has excellent footwork in the post. Expect him to be a double-double machine in his high school career and later on. Can regularly knock down the 15 footer. Outstanding rebounder and passer either on the outlet or out of the post.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> <strong>Makhaya Moore 6”8 2023 Loughlin</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Uses his length to defend in the paint. He showed the ability to catch the ball in traffic and finish. Explosive to the rim and finishes through contact. Has all the tools. Can step out and elevate to get off his shot. A strong physique. When I saw him last year at a open gym before the season he looked a little slow. Give him credit all the rust is off. At this event he was leaner and able to establish the inside.
