[player_tooltip player_id="865334" first="CJ" last="Rich"] - Spring Valley HS

Rich has had a good summer with the Vikings. CJ a left-handed point guard directs traffic from out top. Rich can touch the paint and find the open teammate with a nice bounce pass. CJ is a pass-first point guard who really understands the game. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree I guess here.

[player_tooltip player_id="1318616" first="Brushaurd" last="Young"] - Denmark-Olar HS (pictured on front)

Young is a LATE BLOOMER down in Bamberg County. Brushaurd can do a bit of this and a bit of that for the Vikings. He should have a solid season at the Class 1A level and average a double-double. Young averaged 12.3 ppg and 7.5 rebounds last season for the Vikings.

[player_tooltip player_id="1045478" first="Marques" last="Smith"] - Richland Northeast HS

Smith can explode to the cup or stalk the baseline at times to get his buckets. Marques averaged 10.7 ppg last season for the Cavaliers. Smith runs with HYB Raptors on the Grassroots Circuit. Smith can play both positions in the backcourt. for the Cavaliers.

[player_tooltip player_id="1225775" first="Corean" last="Nelson"] - Crestwood HS (Dalzell)

Nelson packs a big punch at times in not so big of a body. Corean was the All-Region Player of the Year last season for the Knights (21-3). Nelson can play both spots in the backcourt for the Knights (oh yeah Jai Morant old school). He really likes to show his skills in an up-tempo style of play and probably prefers to play more off the ball.

** Nelson, Rich and Young all play on the same Grassroots Team with Head Coach Lance Gurley Big Shots SC 17U Premier.

[player_tooltip player_id="1356724" first="Tre’" last="Locklear"] - Boiling Springs HS

Locklear a left-handed guard recently picked up an offer from Limestone (SC). Tre’ isn’t the biggest kid on the floor but he sures make up for it in determination and desire. Locklear can score the ball from both spots in the backcourt with bit of unorthodox shot. He won’t back down from anyone on the floor. Look for him to be the leader of the Bulldogs squad this season and new Head Coach Craig Martin.

[player_tooltip player_id="1370358" first="Rowan" last="Irelan"] - Lucy Beckham (Mount Pleasant)

Irelan feels comfortable playing both spots in the backcourt. Rowan can knockdown shots from deep and at times run the show for the Bengals. Irelan really showed some good flashes last season for the Bengals with his play. Rowan runs with PSB Charleston on the Grassroots Circuit.
