Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM – 6’2 Small Forward “Cibola” Class of 2024
Elijah Foster Elijah Foster 6'4" | CG Cibola | 2024 State NM had himself a nice Friday afternoon in The City of Vision Team Camp. He led the way for Cibola in their victory vs West Las Vegas. Elijah played an all-around game for the Cougars and made an impact every several different areas in the game. He was aggressive looking for his own shot and created for others as well. Elijah scored from inside and outside playing with a lot of confidence. He has been on my radar for the last few weeks.
Joshua Foster– 6’1 Small Forward “Cibola” Class of 2025
Cibola’s soon to be sophomore Joshua Foster played a huge role in the team’s victory vs West Las Vegas Friday afternoon. Despite not leading his team in scoring in the game, he showed that theirs other ways to contribute to the team’s success. Joshua was the team’s best on-ball and off-ball defender in the team’s victory. He gathered so much attention on the offensive end, that it opened things up for his teammates. Joshua impressed me this Friday afternoon.
Alvin De La Cruz Alvin De La Cruz 6'1" | SG Rio Rancho | 2024 NM – 6’1 Shooting Guard “Cibola” Class of 2024
Alvin De La Cruz Alvin De La Cruz 6'1" | SG Rio Rancho | 2024 NM will be a junior going into next season and he sure looked like it during the City of Vision Team Camp this Friday afternoon. He was the team’s vocal leader on both ends of the floor and held everyone including himself accountable. At the two-guard position, he did a good job bringing up the ball and setting up the offense for Cibola. Alvin definitely was a big factor in the teams win vs West Las Vegas.
Raul Stanford Raul Stanford 5'10" | CG Highland | 2024 State NM – 5’9 Guard “Highland” Class of 2023
Raul Stanford Raul Stanford 5'10" | CG Highland | 2024 State NM from Highland High School played a solid game for the Hornets in the City of Vision Team Camp Friday afternoon. His defense helped the Highland Hornets score on the other end. Raul made extra passes on offense by giving up good shots for great shots to his teammates for open looks. He was one of the teams more vocal leaders throughout the game. Raul has the trust and respect from his teammates and coaches.
Alexis Dominguez Alexis Dominguez 5'10" | PG Highland | 2023 NM – 5’10 Point Guard “Highland” Class of 2023
Highland’s star point guard was the best player I had seen on the floor during Day Two of The City of Vision Team Camp on Friday. He was in the zone from the start of the game vs West Las Vegas. Alexis led Highland in scoring and scored from all areas on the floor. He was very aggressive driving to the basket which opened up his long-range shooting from deep. Alexis did a good job at initiating contact around the basket and drawing fouls around the rim. He did well at converting those free points at the line. Alexis continues making his case as one of the state’s top point guards heading into next season.
